The cat we adopted at the end of April is taking time and patience, she runs away and hides when anyone visits, unfortunately we know nothing of her background. During one of our visits to the UK, we stayed at a hotel in Lockerbie where I enjoyed a slice of a delicious Ginger Cheesecake. We were guests of Copper10-8 on the Amsterdam during a visit to Picton, while being shown around the ship, he introduced us to Dolly, an amazing lady. Rest In Peace Dolly.

@oakridger We have in the past flown Auckland to SFO return on Air New Zealand, business class, I manage to sleep for several hours on the lie flat seats. We have used Air New Zealand Business class, for all our flights to /from North America Last evening flight NZ 8, Auckland to SFO, departed 7.50 pm, arrived 1250 pm SFO, flight time 12 hours 11minutes. Are you planning to cruise during our summer season this year?

Have not looked at the Fleet/Daily for a few days, so will go back and catch up. You have been given good advice for packing for your Alaska cruise, wear or carry your heaviest clothing for your flights. @aliaschief thank you for the photos of Edinburgh. When I returned from my walk this morning discovered that the neighbours in the house below, had cut out another tree, so we have an improved view down across the city. Today the Pacific ocean is a beautiful deep blue colour. Thanks for all the daily reports, Penneshaw, Kangaroo Island was among ports of call during our Australian Circumnavigation Cruises, the first time the seas were too rough to tender ashore, the next cruise, DH went ashore, but I stayed on board, watched the tenders bouncing along on their journeys. @kazu thank you for the message about your toe, hope it will soon heal. Our Rose "Lorraine Lee" has again started flowering in mid- winter, as she did last year, Visit to the supermarket this morning, some empty spaces on the shelves. A few customers not wearing masks even though the Covid case numbers continue to rise. DH had his second Pfizer booster this morning.
