exactly. I have an aqua suite booked on a 9 day on the equinox plus magic carpet booked on the Beyond. It's a southern Caribbean where Im going to be exhausted at night and probably not in the mood to do dress up and sit in a show. So we plan to have some good shows to binge and movies to watch in our expensive (well at least to me) cabins and maybe have some room service to go with our entertainment. I have been monitoring this star link for future rv camping trips in the northwest and am really excited it came to the cruise lines.

It certainly was nice. I loved the thalossotherapy pool at 8am after my run and a quick shower in the gym. After that it was overrun and ridiculous. I have never seen any thermal area oversold and unmanaged like the Magic. The staff just never enforced any rules. A boom box with the loungers in the thermal area! I asked the group to please turn it down as I could hear it through my headphones. Of course I got a no and the usual I paid for this and blah blah blah. Even when I went to complain to staff, they just wouldn't enforce it. I talked to the spa manager and they offered me a massage but I said I don't want that. I just want rules enforced if they exist. I paid a lot for 2 spa balconies. It's insane I can't just relax. We were lucky we weren't ding dong ditched all night as some other guests were as I believe the ditchers couldn't find our wing or were staying in our hallway. We ended up doing the sea day brunch, MDR and breakfast MDR for food which I'd never do normally as I like the grab and go concept of the buffet but it was pretty slim pickings. I was never hungry and enjoyed the food but 1. spoiled by 50% passengers and 2. used to royal and celebrity. We loved Bermuda. We had a lot of fun on and off ship. But it was really crowded and Im used to the smaller passenger capacity from 7 cruises since post covid. Also, Ive read a report in an ongoing thread regarding our medical emergency. It was a heart attack brought on after the person slipped on the steps and was injured. No stabbings. No one fell down a deck. I know because I saw the person fall. Saw the ambulance come into port as well on Monday am.

Also since we are in a spa cabin its much quieter but many reports of kids and adults running loose yelling, banging on doors, screaming, singing... Bring your headphones or ear plugs.

first day it was hot so you'll be ok. Its been fine. Food wise yes of course everyone can find something to eat but it's limited compared to other lines in the buffet.

We are on now and its a zoo. Buffet long lines all the time with scant selections. Im used to RCCL and celebrity so perhaps apples to oranges but its really noticeable. Shows are not good. Too many people in thermal spa. No beds or room in thallosotherapy pool at 645 at night, 4pm...and zero enforcement of limiting crowds in there. People bringing their KIDS in there! I like carnival. I like the Bermuda run. But the shortness of staff plus the increase of gratuities added to 1x a day for room turn down kind of turns me off. Plus the lack of sales for anything on board is so dumb. Why can't specialty restaurants offer a sale on port day dinners? I'd pay for that. Its sad because I started with carnival and I always liked it. I guess its because its a 5 day Im currently on and it's just lacking in a lot of areas. My 4 adult kids are loving it so I guess that's whats important.

Tobacco bay was fantastic. Very nice owner. Showers, food, drinks, chairs and great snorkeling. We have our own equipment and we all had a great time. Took bus back to Hamilton and now awaiting the 630pm ferry.

Since oramge ferry was closed we took the 930 Hamilton ferry. Then we walked to the Hamilton bus station. Took 2 buses to clearwater and Cooper reserve which has terrible snorkeling. We then took the bus to tobacco where we are currently at enjoying ourselves. So, again, you dont need orange ferry. Just blue and a downloaded bus map.

ok. I have not posted in 4 months but this was worthy of a response. The OP asked a specific question about what you would pay for starlink. It didn't pertain to the anti internet crowd as the OP specified. So why do people have this endless need to respond (using the internet mind you) saying that they turn off. blah blah blah. No one cares about what you do. The question was what IF YOU BUY INTERNET are you willing to pay? Since you dont, go focus on chair hogs or drink package posts.

I didn't go back and read where KEM is staying a whole day. Hmmm. Wish that was my situation. I have flight through Air2Sea at 1245p. I have to do my test either with choppy internet on boat or that am when we dock. Then have to get off ship self assist and make it to airport quickly to stand in atrocious line for hours. Have to skip fluid until we get through security so i have no issues. I wish i had a day to relax and make my way to the airport.

i have a passport holder that also holds my vaccine card. Very handy.

We have been on only 4 TAs and one 15 day repositioning. Every day we heard Alpha Alpha Alpha. Had I believe at least 1 medevac, 4 return to port, sadly a few disembark earlies with the body (that was sad). It seems unfortunately to be the norm on TAs. Or at least the ones Im on. We had someone pass away day 3 of one sailing across the hall from us per our room steward who was apparently the one who came in when the wife called. The steward was really shaken up. I talked to her for a while about it just to let her unwind a bit. Really sad situation. Hope all is ok. Very scary for them.

Is there anyway you can get a printout from dr office showing you have vaccines? They can go into state system and do it for you. My friend had to do this in PA for a RCCL cruise leaving out of florida and they took the state printout. I mean it happens. People have lost these cards.

sounds like that is the issue. You'll be fine bringing card.

check and make sure the vaccine information is legible. My booster info was not getting accepted 🙄 and I looked at my card after the 5th attempt. I noted a 2 looked like a 7 (yes 17/3/21 instead of 12/3/21...) I adjusted it, resubmitted, it was accepted.
