  1. Yes you need to, but it's not a big deal. Just show up at the assigned station and they will check you off. Even the minute presentation is no longer being offered, unless you ask for it.πŸ˜„
  2. Not sure that is an IT issue. Do you get notified either from the Loyalty Ambassador or Concierge of your on-board benefits.
  3. That is why I'm loyal to Royal. As D+, I get a balcony discount of $250/$188 for a 7 niter and $350/$263 for a longer cruise. The lower amount is the reduction due to the solo supplement discount, when available.
  4. I can get solo balcony cabins on the Q class but not 2x points per night. Other questions that wasn’t answered is any balcony discounts like in the C&A program.
  5. I do as the benefits accriued are woth $1k+ starting with the solo supplement and balcony discounts. Ps, I understand that X does not offer solo discounts, just wondering if they offer balcony discounts and 2X points for solos.
  6. I'm on a 3-4 niter b2b on Utopia and wondering as a D+ (340+) if I get BOGO and wine on both segments.
  7. This was due to Covid as you mentioned. On one of my Anthem sails, the Captain mentioned that they were hoping that an Officer would be able to sit at table with members, as in past.
  8. In my humble opinion, other than the fillet and everything else like the apps and desserts are normal menu items. What I find amazing is that wine flows freely, however when I order a beer or sometimes a diet coke, I have to use one of my 5 allotted drinks.🀣
  9. Royal has its lunch with Officers in one of their MDR. As a matter of fact, they have 2 of them, one for the Ps and separate one for the D+ with 340+. On Easter Anthem sail that I attended there were more Officers than attendees. No problem with crowding at all and including the C lounge.
  10. Did someone at Royal tell you that you forfeited these purchased or are you assuming since the refunds have not hit your cc
  11. On my February Anthem 8 niter departure in Nassau was 4PM and at 4:30 we were still anchored. I kept seeing passengers some walking and some taking their sweet time, with not a care in the world. Crew and officers kept the chattering and communicating with the Captain, Finally, at about 4:45 everything was pulled up and with the drama over headed to the dining room. Next stop was Coco Cay, so they had some flexibility. In this instance, don't know if those tardy Paxs communicated with the ship's authorities.
  12. Update, for the Utopia sail I was able to upgrade from guaranteed interior to ocean view balcony for $63 for the 3 niter and $107 for the 7 niter. This is for 2 and doing a happy dance. The craziest pricing that I saw was that the CP balconies were higher in price than the OV balconies.
  13. I’ve sailed on Oasis and Quantum classes and my balcony cabins only had 2 chairs and table. The only time that I saw loungers were on designated large OV balconies.
  14. Are grats included. If so, comparison to prior pricing, it's $231.
  15. Do they mention what those concerns are. Any examples? Are they including chairs and tables in the removal.
  16. I have a different problem. I have a 3 niter on Utopia booked via the Casino. The reservation is there, but unable to book anything in the cruise planner. However, my B_B 4 niter, not a problem. Was told initially that it would take 48 hours, then a week, now it 2 weeks. The only good thing out of it I was able to upgrade to an ocean view balcony from an interior on both sails for $63 and $107 respectively. I have assigned cabin numbers and don't have to pursue an upgrade via Royal Up.
  17. They may have an Advantage medical plan or a Medicare supplement policy that pay the 80% that Medicare would normally pick up. If only original Medicare, then they are stuck with all of the costs. Not familiar if transportation is covered.
  18. Usually, any Casino advances are charged to the on-board seapass account.
  19. However, what I was trying to point out was that neighborhood balconies are going at a much higher price than an ocean view balconies. Usually it’s the opposite.
  20. Booked Symphony sailing on October 13 in a CP balcony last November. Today, an Ocean View balcony is only $300 more. However, strange pricing, a similar CP balcony is some $2,000 more than the originally booked price. This is a cabin for 3 and included kids sail free. Boardwalk balcony cabins pricing is close to the CP balconies. Also, Wonder sailing in August '25 in a CP balcony for 3 is $900+ more than originally booked.
  21. You can keep X, I just updated a B-B Casino promo from an interior to an Ocean View balcony for a mere $170. Looking forward to Utopia in August.πŸ˜„
  22. Ok, that makes sense as I was perplexed. Have a sail on Wonder and my son's family totaling 3 are right next-door cabin #12597 and both mine (95) and his have beds by the balcony. This was not the case last August on Oasis.
  23. Google or Bing the cabin number and you may get the desired results. When I sail on Oasis class, I select a CP balcony and usually select 12595 and I'm guaranteed a bed by the balcony.
  24. The reason for my inquiry, is that I have a 3 & 4 niter b-b interior cabin on Utopia in late August and trying to evaluate between Casino upgrade or wait for the Royal Up on an ocean view balcony cabin. Recently, upgraded from an interior on Odyssey to a balcony cabin for $820 as a solo and was advised that I probably could have done better with Royal Up. However, the advantage is that I have an assigned cabin.
