Hi Terry🙂 I am going to Istanbul with SS in April. Sailing out of Athens. Your pictures are always wonderful. I am booking my tours through the cruise line......just easier for me. It will be my first time visiting Istanbul, although I have been to Turkey (Ephasus) before.

Hi DW, I echo Lola's post.......the beautiful glass of the structures are just amazing. I am back home from sailing Dawn to the Caribbean and your trip is so much more exciting LOL😃 (I did have a great cruise though🙂).

I can't remember the last time I had a photo taken on a cruise.....actually, it has been years and years, literally. No photos for me . As for what to wear? I just returned from a Caribbean cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale and I wore a new top that I bought on Las Olas Blvd😃 and a pair of jeans. No, they were not "heavy/bulky" denim LOL.....and I felt quite comfortable. I always pack another outfit in my carry on for that first night at dinner, "just in case". But I got my luggage in plenty of time and changed out of my jeans for dinner and never put them back on again until disembarkation day. Ft. Lauderdale was in the high 40s Monday morning............I just got home Monday afternoon. I am sailing to the Med in April out of Athens and have not decided on what to wear at this point.

Hi Cynthia, we go Aghios Nikolaos. As for tours? We are offered multiple tours that are included in the cruise price so I am booking through the cruise line. SS roll calls are not very active and the only other way I would book is with going with other folks. Unless you have a cruise operator that is very 1 2 1 driven? In other words, a private tour with just me? I would consider that...........

Crew are no longer wearing masks. As for guests? I just returned home from a cruise and I saw a few guests wearing them. I think that is the guest's choice to wear them.

I am going to Greece in April and will be bringing cotton cropped pants for touring. I am not a "dress gal" so sundresses are never a part of my cruising attire. I will check the weather on a constant basis about a week before I leave to see if and what any changes I need to make.

Hi Sharon, we go to Crete, Rhodes, Mykonos, Mamaris, Kusudasi , Dikil (Izmir), an overnight stay in Istanbul and Thessaloniki. I have only visited Mykonos and Rhodes before so the all the other stops are new for me😃

Good morning girls, just doing laundry. Sharon, I am going out of Athens in April for 10 nights😃 Definitely a much more active cruise than what I just took.........when I go to Europe, The Med, etc.....I always go on tours. To travel all that way and not see things? Makes no sense for me. We go to Istanbul and it is my first time there😃

Hi Missy, need to know? The Salt Bar is my favorite spot😃. Afzul is the bartender and he should be there for your sailing......tell him hi! I did not make any reservations on line this cruise. I ate on my own twice in 10 nights and that was by choice. The other nights? Had dinner with staff multiple times as well. Other nights I dined with other guests I had met.

omg.....that was way back in 2012.......it was my first cruise to the Med........it will always hold a special place for me as I had lost my Dad a few months before that cruise. I had never been to any of the places before that time..........wow.

Hi Terry, I hope we win, don't misunderstand........love my home team but as you said, I am trying to have realistic expectations.....at least for this year we have done SO MUCH BETTER than anyone expected!😃 after the fiasco with you know who last year......horrible, just horrible. As for the ports, I only got off the ship in Domonica........did a trolley tour around the island with a stop at some botanical gardens, along with seeing some parrots and having liquid refreshment. Tour Guide was quite good. Other than that? I was really lazy this cruise and never got off the ship.

I did not write a review but I sailed her in October and enjoyed it as usual😀 I know we are all different and have different wants/needs, etc but I always end up having a good time😀

Hi Melody, sitting at the airport for my flight home. Thanks, we really looked like a different team in the 2nd 1/2. And I am very proud of them but I seriously doubt we will beat the Chiefs in Kansas City.........but you never know.

Good morning, MJ? Did we cruise together all those years ago? I don't know if Russ does a solo act to be honest with you. I don't recall seeing anything in the Chronical about it but this cruise I didn't go to any shows either. As for my favorite ship, both Moon and Dawn would be up there😀

Hi folks, why doesn't someone just start a new thread about Starlink? Anyway, last evening on board and I don't have answers about maple syrup or the price of manicures. I have had an excellent time, my food has been good to excellent and service outstanding. I continue to enjoy my SS experience immensly.😀
