For the first time in 20 years of cruising I have some unfortunate news. Not life threatening but quite painful. I seem to have pulled /tore a muscle in my right calf and basically cannot put any weight on the right leg. The Dr and nurse came to the suite(both extremely nice) and gave me a shot for pain but I have to into Valencia to their medical center for an ultrasound to see that tear. They can't do it on the ship. Never had anything like this before, although I do get leg cramps but this was no cramp. I actually heard a pop and then couldn't walk This was in the middle of the night coming back to bed from the bathroom and wasn't sure how was going to make it back to bed. Finally did. So that is how my first full day is starting out.

Hi Terry, I stayed at The Hotel Majestic and it was about a 25 minute bus ride to the ship. We go to Valencia, Cadiz, Malaga, Cartegena, Palma de Mallorca, Porto Mahan, Gibraltar and Tangier.

Hi Lola, the only issues I had was after arriving at Heathrow. VERY confusing and nobody to help. Didn't know you had to through security before going to the gate and the train was full so had to walk a long way then go back to the gate. It all seemed backwards but I made it.

Good morning, just had my Covid test and all negative😀. Actually this is a different lab than originally scheduled and they were quicker and less $. It was only 60 Euros. For anyone interested they are called "PCR'S At Work". The tech was very nice as well. So now it is just a waiting game. Bus for the ship leaves at 2.

The day is here so I guess the number is 0😀 I sail this afternoon.

Made it to Barcelona and sitting at The Rooftop Bar at The Majestic. It is sunny and breezy and feels like it's in the high 70s. No humidity and lovely😀

Hi folks, sitting in the BA Lounge sipping on Vodka/Fever Tree Tonic😀. First flight was all good a we arrived early. Long haul leaves at 7pm. The Philly Airport is ok. Took a shuttle from Terminal F to terminal A

I bring a checked bag and jolly only brings a carry on, nothing crazy about either one of us.

Tell her it is not crazy😀 we all have the way we like to pack.

I sailed her back in October so it has been quite a few months......loved that cruise. It was my first time to Lisbon and The Azores...it was great😀

Flying out today so I don't know the next time I will post........I sail on Monday😀

Good morning, I actually don't think I had a choice.....this cruise was a replacement for something else and my TA just did a transfer. I had booked the Dawn for her Inaugural a long time ago then I had to cancel that one......I think this was before they had a choice. As for my flights? I am hoping all goes on schedule........Jax to Philly, Phily to London and then London to Barcelona. Coming home.........Barcelona to AMS, AMS to JFK and then JFK to Jax.

Good morning, we all just need to do what is best for ourselves. I have always brought 1 checked bag and 1 carry on and I don't own any dresses either🙂 Calling people crazy because of how they pack? That is not really kind or necessary. Can't we just agree that we are all different and what is best for one person may not be what is good for someone else?

Hi, well, now it is past 7 pm and there is not a field to click on for me to choose my seat😲..........I am actually on hold with BA at the moment. Looks like I won't be able to do anything until tomorrow when I check in at the airport. Well, I spoke with a nice gal at least and she got my seat booked..........23A....single. She said it would be on my boarding pass. Lets hope it goes smoothly tomorrow.
