I actually made it home about 11:00pm..........flight from JFK was delayed of course. Will do a wrap up over the weekend.

I have not flown in or out of JFK in years. Delta is a mess over here, delay delay, delay.

Here is a shocker (not) my flight from Barcelona was ready to go and then we were delayed 1 hour because of an issue with someone's luggage. My connection at AMS was one hour. Talk about cutting it close. OMG with the wheelchair assistance I was 5 minutes from the doors closing. The flight attendants on KLM were awesome though😀 So now I am sitting at JFK but they changed the gate 3 times already. So not sure what time the flight is even leaving.

Thanks to everyone who suggested the wheelchair access. It has worked great so far. I had a car at the port waiting for me and a very nice driver. He got me here in less than 30 minutes. He was nice enough to come inside the airport with me as well. Once I got on the right line, he then departed. The lady behind the Ticket counter is the person who got the wheelchair process going. They seem to have pretty efficient process. I am now sitting at the gate. Oh, another kudos to The Hotel Director. He offered to give me a cane and I gave him back the crutch. But the cane will work to at least help me till I can fully heal, around the house, etc. That was so kind of him. So hopefully the connections will go as smoothly as this first flight.

Hi, now sitting at the gate at Barcelona Airport. Had wheelchair access all the way through. Let's hope the rest go just as smoothly. Oh the Hotel Director gave me a cane before left the ship this morning. I then gave him back the crutch. But that was so nice. The staff and crew shined brightly for me the entire 11 days.

Hi, Cat Lover, first call Monday morning is to my PCP and hoping he can see me quickly. Ate in Atlantide tonight with several other solo guests. Nice way to end the cruise.

Hi, last day, all packed. I hope my flights go on as scheduled but these days one never knows. Glad to be in Business Class and having wheelchair assistance. That should definitely help. I sat down and wrote a letter to the Hotel Director today. Given what I experienced I wanted to make sure Management knows how far, above and beyond the service went for me. They made the most difference of any cruise I have sailed and I hope they are recognized/rewarded for it. I don't mean to sound melodramatic about it, but this was more than a challenging cruise for me. I am so used to doing everything on my own. Asking for help is not always easy but you do what you have to do. Anyway, one last afternoon at the pool.

Hi, I already have a cruise booked for 2024 so some itineraries are out now.

I sailed with Celebrity for nearly 15 years. Started with Silversea in 2017 and have never looked back. I never sailed Edge Class but can tell you there is no issue on SS with who has access to the Pool Bar. There are no pool games. The regular suites average about 350 Sq feet with balconies. They do offer larger ones, Silver suite, Owners Suite, etc offer living room/dining room, etc. The largest ship holds 600 so much, much smaller than X. In my opinion, it is like comparing apples to oranges. Hope this helps a bit.

Hi, today is Wed and it was the first time in about 3 days I felt "normal". Still cannot put full weight on the leg but at least was able to eat 3 meals today. Tomorrow is packing and I will definitely be giving extra $$$$ to the crew fund this trip. They made the biggest difference EVER for me.

I am on ship now in the Med and the public venues have been cold to freezing, so much so I have gone to Guest Relations multiple times. Evenings I ALWAYS have a cardigan with me.

Hi girls, thanks for all the replies and tips. We have 2 more days. We disembark Friday and this is the first time in about 3 or 4 days that I feel a bit more normal. Am able to eat some yogurt and fruit and it tastes good. I have not had an appetite these last few days. Anyway, I still can't put full weight on the leg but today it does feel a bit better. Of course it is the end of the trip.

Hi, I landed in Barcelona on June 26th and they asked to see my health form. But I flew over. Not sure about if you arriving via ship.

I am not sure who posted about the spa but to that person, Thank you. There are 10 loungers out here and today I am using one. The pool is quite crowded and I have no desire to try and find a spot out there. This is PERFECT. So thank you again I was in the Arts Cafe for a couple of hours first. I do love that venue.

Today is Tuesday, July 5th and it is the only sea day on this sailing (although for me every day has been a sea day). It is cloudy outside. Most days have been sunny so this is a change. I do want to give out BIG Kudos to the staff and crew as they have really gone out of their way to help me with multiple items. Normally I am very low maintenance but I have needed help with multiple things this cruise. Everyone has been kind and gracious.

Hi Melody, I have to walk on the ball of my foot. As for the crutch, my new smaller carry on has a long handle, that can sort of act as a crutch.

Please no killing, I was just giving an observation. I have seen no kids smoking. I realize this is a different form of a "live from". I am using a company called "Luggage Forward" to send my checked bag home at disembarkation. They are out of Boston. Then I won't have to worry about claiming it at JFK. Oh, for all of you who suggested wheelchair help, it is now in place at all 3 stops. I have to fly to AMS, then JFK, then home. Let's hope it all goes according to plan. Wish I could give you more port information but I have not been able to get off the ship. Hope all of you in the states are having a Happy 4th.

Another lightweight brand is LeSportsac. They have all sizes and the colors and prints are really fun. The nylon is light and sturdy.
