Hi, this is very interesting since you sailed from Barcelona. I am going out of there in 2 weeks. My email never mentioned the June 30th date. You said the document at the SS hotel said they would be providing the testing? Would love to know if your email you received before you left had that date on it? Where did you stay pre-cruise?

You have 3 months.......I would not cancel and lose all the money I paid.

Ohhh.......you know you have to fill out ArriveCan for your cruise. I am going to Alaska in August. Doing the land trip pre-cruise to Denali so the cruise line will have to do my test for that cruise.

Thanks for the heads up. This looks really good. I will be away for episodes 2 and 3 but thats ok. Will just find it after I come home. Question about your Espadrilles that you said are comfy.......is there "a give" to them? Whenever I have tried on an Espadrille, they may be cute but the bottom is hard as a rock😲

Well, all my cruise documents arrived today........the ticket and hotel, etc in one email and the other was all about testing policies, etc.......For those of you staying in your own hotels, the email specifically states they will NOT be providing Pier side testing. But in the next section it says, "For guests participating in a Pre-or Post Land Programme, Silversea will necessary testing if required." I guess that means if you are staying at one of their properties pre-cruise? I will contact my SS rep to re-confirm and that I don't have to do my own test. I am booked through SS for hotel and transfers. What happened to the continuation of pier side testing through June 30th?

Hi girls, Cynthia, the heat is here for sure. I have been in a short sleeved lightweight cotton top and shorts for the past few days actually. (Including today). Well, I fly out to Barcelona 2 weeks from today😃. I thought about looking for new luggage and even went to a Specialty Luggage store earlier this week but then decided what I have is just fine. I know better luggage has long term warranties but OMG........ the prices are just too much for me.😲 It has been 7 months since my last cruise. I went to the Caribbean for 2 weeks back in December. Looking forward to this one as the last time I was in Barcelona was back in 2017! I did go through my clothing recently and at least everything fits. Will be bringing 1 checked bag and 1 carry on which is my usual way. I know Europe is hot in June/July so have lightweight crops for touring. I know many gals wear sundresses but that is just not me. Anyway, hope all of you are having a good weekend and Debbie, if you are even lurking, we are all thinking about you and hope you are ok. You are missed🙂

Hi,🙂 tell your bride all ages of people go to Alaska..........families with small children as well as yes, those of us who are in our 60's......just like other itineraries. Alaska cruises cater to all folks, whatever their age happens to be........20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, etc..........you get the picture. And packing will be different for sure, I always suggest layering.

I am waiting for my email. Sailing on the 27th so it should be coming on the 12th. Will post what mine says. I am sailing out of Barcelona so it should be the same as Venice. And that would be continuing until June 30🙂....June only has 30 days.
