Greg -- we only wish there were more local than chain... The chains have been pushing the locals out - just like everywhere. I forgot to mention we also have Sportsman's Warehouse... The Locals vs. Chains also goes for the Restaurants... Almost all new restaurants are chain restaurants.

Hey Greg - Check your info for the Train Station... If you purchased ticket independently you are most likely catching the train @ the downtown depot. If you purchased from NCL & are headed down on their special train - you are most likely departing from the Airport Train Station.

Glacier Brew is good... Both Beer & Food -- Enjoy! Always packed - year round... The Bar seating is always the best bet

I have to laugh at the images in my head for the laundry bags... On our April/May 16 day Trip we were each eligible for 2 bags... We definitely took advantage of these... The first laundry bag which went out, our Room Attendant came to the door to collect it - as we had asked for the bag... When Johnny handed it over to him he almost dropped it - I am very good @ the roll & stuff and he wasn't prepared for the heftiness The look on his face was priceless 🙂 On-Board Laundry & no "Formal Nights" make all the difference in packing Especially w/ longer trips & pre / post stays

We Loved our TransPacific on the Jewel - SETP/OCT 2018 - before her Renovation & we Enjoyed our TransAtlantic on the Getaway - OCT/NOV 2019... We prefer the smaller/mid-size ships - so the Jewel Crossing beat the Getaway - but we still Enjoyed the Getaway...

Woo Hoo Anchorage soon. Drizzle & Flood Watch - but you’re going to have a great time!!! I think the flood watch is over for ANC - but the National Weather Service still has it listed… Lots of rain still happening up here in Talkeetna. I’ll be leaving here tomorrow for 100+ weather

Time is getting short for you... Hope the flights are smooth & on-time! AK Air is our go to for most every starting flight... Imagine That 🙂 Lots of rain yesterday - I got home from Anchorage after 11 PM Drab & grey today Hopefully the Sun & Warmth will Return - but your weather in Anchorage & Seward may be a little different than your last Sunny Shorts Alaska trip I hope you got to experience the main/largest AK Air Lounge in SEA last year - they have a number of them. Our flights to & from Alaska are generally always packed - hoping for an upgrade SUN/MON... Most likely out of luck for ANC-SEA... But SEA to SAN may have some options... As long as I am able to pre-book flights vs. last minute or depart in the next few hours - I generally am able to score one of my favorite exit row seats: 17 D or 16 D (I don't recline my seat anyway)... So if no First Class Upgrade pops up, I'll be good to go & I've already ordered my official AK Air Signature Fruit & Cheese Platter

We were on a TA from Copenhagen to New Orleans Halloween 2019... There were Costume Parade & Contests, Haunted House, Trick-or-Treating, Other Special Events, Drinks & Menu Items The Haunted House was pretty great for a single night performance - we went @ the end of the night.
