We truly enjoyed the cruise - even our extra time in Cartagena! You timed the disembarkation perfectly!!! We were a little later - getting off the ship was quick... However, the line for Customs was crazy - not all stations were open & the station we were funneled thru - the Customs Officer carried on a Conversation w/ every single person/group through his line! By watching - we quickly learned: if you were short w/ him or evasive - he kept you even longer... We were of course pleasant & polite and were a shorter conversation 🙂 The workers funneling the stations apologized to us, when they sent us to his... Woo Hoo on the Alaska Air voucher! They were seeking volunteers for our flight as well - however, I needed to work Friday - as I had 24 days to catch up... Hate to admit - there are still some items left on my e-mail triage list - obviously they were not on the high priority side 🙂 Enjoy your next cruise - we're looking, but haven't found one we have to take yet... Most of this was answered above... One thing I'll add - on this cruise our Steward alternated which of the hallway/rooms he started w/. It was nice to be first some days & late others 🙂 We had a fabulous Steward (Jayesh) as well!!!

Hola -- I mentioned above, a person on our recent cruise was able to cash an old slot voucher from another cruise/ship. Here's the info in her own words: Casino: Not sure if this is common knowledge, but I forgot to cash in a voucher from my last cruise on the Epic in December. When I called to book this cruise I mentioned it because I read the voucher and it looked like I was going to be out $500+, but Casino guy said it happens all the time just take the voucher to the cage and they will redeem it. I was skeptical, because I’d never seen this mentioned on any of the threads I have read, but it was true! She made a copy and sent the info over to Epic and a few hours later I had my cash.

We have really enjoyed your review! We were on the cruise before you & truly loved our first trip on the Sun... The Team Members (all except one bar assistant - I imagine he won't be offered a future contract) were fantastic! We would have loved to stayed on the ship & joined you - but needed to get back to work after our 24 day trip. The tiny shower was interesting - but a minor inconvenience... For the Inside Passage - the Hot Tubs are always a favorite for us... It's been a while since we've been on the Spirit - I do not recall where the hot tubs are & if they're located in an optimum place. Have a Fantastic Cruise & Cheers -- Von John

We embarked 0n 04/21 - so a little over a month ago... Everything went great for us, although we did have an early morning check-in. No long lines!!! Entering the Terminal - they did request to see Passports & Boarding Doc's. Have a GREAT Cruise! Cheers -- Von & John

A person on our recent cruise was able to cash an old slot voucher from another cruise/ship. She brought it w/ her just in case. The cashier’s desk copied it and e-mailed the ship in question. A few hours later they contacted her to let her know her $$ was ready. it’s worth a try…

It was 60’s & sunny in Seward on our Trans Pacific - Vancouver to Tokyo SEPT/OCT 2018. I was in short sleeves & capris in Seward. Warm weather & cold weather clothes were both appreciated on the ship & land during our journey.

Our Nicaragua stop in April was cancelled by the Nicaraguan Authorities.

We're here - Arrived late last night... One for night & a bag drag...

Looking forward to the rest of the review - always love your reviews. Glad to see Dad back along on this cruise. Enjoy the Jewel & Alaska - we are now hitting 14-1/2 hours of sunlight / day in Talkeetna… Or @ least we would be, if it would quit snowing… Looks like Christmas out there - A true Winter Wonderland… We just want Sun & Warmth (& no need to use the snowblower) 😎
