I must be mistaken because I thought I heard that St. Kitts was not happening at all on your cruise but was replaced with St. Maarten?!?!

Wandered over there once unknowingly...this was my reaction:

Absolutely! St. Maarten is one of my favotite ports to go to in Caribbean. Actually IMHO much nicer than St. Kitts. @PistolPete13 consider this a bit of a blessing.

You at least caught a break on that elevator...I have never seen it that empty!

I'm mostly good about making final payment at least a day or two (or more) before final payment date. A number of years back it totally slipped my mind at I made final payment about a week or so AFTER the due date. Nothing happened as a result of my forgetfullness...no cruise cancellations....etc. so just paid it. While I don't recommend pushing the envelope like that...at least once for me being late wasn't a problem. 😉

I have a few questions for anyone who has recently sailed on Prima. 1. I know Noise Boys no longer shows under entertainment but by any chance are they still showing it? 2. Is Indulge food hall still complimentary mostly? Heard rumors that they might start charging. 3. Is the mini golf free or are they now charging for that. 4. I heard on a number of the first sailings there were a few problems in the thermal suite. Have those all been fixed?

Hi Don, Just noticed your posts about being on the Trans-Atlantic cruise. Hope you and Barbara have a wonderful time!....a number of the amigos and amigas will be cruising on a 7 Day Bermuda cruise on Prima during the same time as you. (Jerry and Cheryl, Mike and Edna, and myself and Melitta. The cruise is a bit pricey but we all felt we really wanted to see the new ship....wishing you and Barbara a safe and fun filled cruise!

It's too early in the morning for me to now be this hungry! All of your food pics though have now done it!

Makes total sense to me Jim...and not something easily (or maybe even possibly) fixed. Doesn't sound promising going forward. I admit to not really following many other cruise lines right now other than NCL but I assume the same problem is widespread. Had a situation that shows labor problems for something different happen to me. The car dealer I work with locally I normally just pull into (without an appointment) for oil changes and they have never had a problem taking care of me. For some reason I decided to call ahead to make sure I could get an oil change before I just stopped in...and they told me I couldn't do it without an appointment. They also told me that they didn't have any appointments available for 2 weeks! Whoa! 2 weeks for an oil change!?!? The Service Writer confided in me that it's the same type of problem...can't find enough workers to do it.

It would be interesting to find out how much of the crew shortage is due to simple cost cutting and layoffs vs. simply not being able to find enough folks willing to still work on these cruise ships. If very much of it is the latter it may continue to get worse.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank some people who have done live type reviews on the NCL boards over the last few months. Your opinions, experiences, pics, and videos have helped out far more people than you could ever know.
