  1. Oh ok. Yes, it shows up on the UK site but it won’t let you actually book. I think it’s only bookable on the US site (and by TAs) atm.
  2. How? I just get the Oops, Something Went Wrong page when I try to book it.
  3. Sep 22nd is very early for the final 7 nighter in the Med. The westbound TA usually departs at the very end of October so yes, I’d say it’s pretty much a certainty that the dry dock will be at the end of the Med season.
  4. There are no earlier slots. The entire MDR is now used for early traditional dining, then once the early diners leave they start opening up the tables for MTD. That can happen a bit earlier than 7, so you might get seated around 6.30/6.45 if you’re lucky, but if you want to eat any earlier you need to go for traditional dining.
  5. The problem is since the restart people have become accustomed to ships not sailing full and get a nasty surprise when they find they are. Did people seriously expect to have the ship to themselves at the first fully restriction-free Thanksgiving for 3 years?
  6. What they pick is academic as you just go to any restaurant as soon as you’re on board and make reservations for wherever you want, whenever you want (subject to availability).
  7. Looks like the concierge just cut and paste from the Diamond letter and overlooked the required edit for D+ … simple mistake.
  8. The 14 day distance selling rule doesn’t apply to travel tickets or package holidays I’m afraid. https://www.gov.uk/online-and-distance-selling-for-businesses
  9. @kitkat343 is spot on. @RCCLNYMETS41 - which is most important, ship or itinerary? If it’s the ship you may find it quite a comedown from O and Q class. There are far fewer speciality dining and entertainment options. But if the ship’s just your hotel between interesting ports of call, you’ll be just fine.
  10. Effectors 2 and Voices in the main theater, ice show, Aqua show (InTense) and comedy.
  11. Yes, there is a theater. The production shows are Effectors 2 (spectacular tech but nonsense story aimed at kids) and Voices. The ice and Aqua shows are brilliant. And the Mason Jar bar, unique to Wonder, is a triumph if you like your country music although the restaurant is decidedly average.
  12. When you check in, 45 days before departure, on the app or website.
  13. Yes, if you buy one person/two devices you can both use your device at the same time. You’ll only get kicked off if you try to use three devices between you at the same time.
  14. Remember the menu in Silk is the same as any other MDR. So unless you really want to dine there for the ambience, there’s no real point in insisting on being seated there.
  15. The US requires all non-residents/non-citizens to be vaccinated as a condition of entry, whether cruising or flying. It’s one of the last major western countries to do so.
  16. The % off line is utterly meaningless, ignore it. It means you get 3 meals for £115 pp. Prices have risen very sharply this year so up to you whether you think it’s worth it.
  17. It’s the same cruise, but you can either board on a Sunday in Barcelona or a Thursday in Civitavecchia. Either way you’re on board for 7 nights and visit all the same ports. I agree that Barcelona is the better starting point, not least because Royal hasn’t figured out how to get the app working if you board in Civitavecchia. Plus Barcelona’s port is much closer to the city and airport.
  18. Yes, there are many threads on this. The idea is that the entire MDR is used for early traditional, then as and when tables come free they open up MTD. Officially at 6:45 but it can be earlier if early diners are done before then. But yes, if you want guaranteed early dining, you need to book traditional. Or go to the Windjammer.
  19. They sure spent a lot of money on the tech. Sadly the budget ran out for the script.
  20. No, and I don’t think they plan to. The strategy now seems to be to develop new in-house production shows rather than pay $$$$ to license Broadway shows so on Wonder it’s The Effectors 2 and Voices, plus the Ice and Aqua shows.
  21. Bottom line: fewer menu choices = cheaper. Let’s not pretend there’s any other motivation behind this.
