Wow, so glad you made it! Your cabin looked spectacular. I was interested to see how nicely they had made up your bunk beds. Andrew had bunkbeds on Allure in July, and they just threw the bedding on there in a pile, even after I asked them to make his bed, the steward just kept doing that. Oh well, it didn't ruin our cruise. But it did make me wonder what the usual bedding protocol is for bunks.

We sailed Adventure last Thanksgiving in 2022, back when it sailed out of Galveston. I honestly had pretty low expectations since the ship was smaller and older. It ended up being one of my favorite cruises. The ship was in great shape - much better than I had expected, the food was good, the shows were good, we went ice skating, we had a fantastic time. 🙂

Saint Greg's Alaska Jewel - Live - August 28, 2023

My only complaint with Alaska Airlines is the last time I flew to Seattle, the seat cushion was very thin and my butt went numb. 😬 -

So glad it all worked out!! Enjoy your cruise. This happened to my husband DURING a cruise one time. He got sick as a dog one night (and he hadn't been drinking), and I thought we were all in for a round of Noro. But he felt totally fine the next day, and the rest of us didn't get it. That was a huge relief. It must have been something he ate. -
Has anyone done the Hato Caves excursion in Curacao?

I used Tours by Locals for a post-cruise tour in Los Angeles, and it was a great experience.

Lucy's are the best! ❤️ Our son was reading the Chronicles of Narnia when we got her, so that influenced the name he chose. I love it. It really suits her. The rescue told us that she had had TWO previous homes before ours (why anyone would return her, I cannot imagine - she is so sweet), and her name before that was "Kitty". She deserves a real name and a real forever home, which she has now. I always look forward to pics of your Lucy girl.

The cream is methimazole. You rub it on the inside of their ears twice a day. It’s easier than giving a pill twice a day (although I can do that). Our carpet is15 years old; it was replaced back when we bought the house. It does need to be replaced again, but we haven’t done it yet. I did not know of the link between new carpet and cat hyperthyroidism! I’ll keep that in mind.
