I do need to get a converter. My husband has a CPAP which is not dual voltage. Thank you. -

Since you are in BA a couple of days before boarding, what converter and adapter are you using? TIA -
It shouldn’t be a problem. The worst thing that could happen is you wait in line.

Live From The Odyssey, across the Pacific Ocean

I’m glad the “Block Party” is back 🥂🎉 -
You all remember the Arab Spring began in January 2011. My Mom and I were booked on the Spirit March 21 to April 8 (Dubai to Athens). Of course, we were talking about canceling and rebooking a different cruise. Seabourn would only say “they were monitoring the situation” as many wanted to know of any itinerary changes and whether or not to cancel. Not one word from Seabourn until we all boarded in Dubai and checked in. That is when we were informed of the itinerary change. Instead of Alexandria (where all of us wanted to go) we went to Ashdod. It’s one thing to be aware of any itinerary change but to not advise anyone until we were all onboard was a BIG fail on Seabourn’s part. May 2024 is seven months away but sadly, I think the conflict is going to get worse before it gets better.

Would you sail on the Seabourn Odyssey's final voyage?
TootyJane replied to lesward's topic in Seabourn Cruise Line
We were on the Odyssey in May (Honolulu to Vancouver). We arrived home and within a week received the invitation to join the Farewell Sailing. We’re booked and looking forward to seeing Alaska (again 😆) and Japan. We’re planning on meeting up with our son and visiting Kyoto. -
Would rather have Aquavit than Jäegermeister! Years ago, they used to offer Aquavit at the Galley Lunch.

I’m back. This is not the page I recall reading but it looks as though it’s 75lbs. https://www.seabourn.com/en_US/find-a-cruise/S5J10AAN2/P510.html

We are going to Antarctica 🇦🇶 on the Pursuit next February. I believe I read that the limit is 50lbs. for the chartered flights to/from Ushuaia. HTH

My husband and I did use the sanitizer stations on our recent cruise onboard the Odyssey. I do like the fact that I don’t have to carry sanitizer around. There were no sinks in place that I am aware of. The fact that Seabourn has these stations is the ‘encouragement’. We’re all adults and shouldn’t have to be verbally reminded but we’re living in a world of self-entitlement now. Remember, you can lead a horse to water …

Which luxury line is the least stuffy? ;)

I beg to differ. A Mediterranean cruise on Seabourn would be an ideal itinerary to celebrate a21st birthday 🥳 21yo -
It’s all online now. You print out your own Embarkation and Luggage tags.

On my goodness! My mom and I cruised on Seabourn from 2004 to 2017 until she couldno longer cruise. Over that 13 year period we booked many 7-day back-to-back cruise. Some 14-day cruises but mostly 21-day cruises. We never had an issue booking specific suites. Have your TA call Seabourn.

That’s exactly what I’m saying.

Unless the Chef has been to Market and/or the ship has received provisions, the meat, fish, etc. is going to be “Fresh Frozen” meaning the food was quickly frozen while it was still fresh.
-
The ship’s menus are on a 3-4 week rotation. You can always ask for the dish to be prepared. Just speak with the maître d’. HTH

Are shore excursions free on Seabourn expedition ships?
TootyJane replied to commodoredave's topic in Seabourn Cruise Line
Booked on the Pursuit for February 2024. Kayaks run $200 per person, and submarines are $1,000 per person. That being said, depending on your Seabourn Club Level, the discounts do apply. HTH -
Odyssey in May 2024 - retain staff this close to sale?
TootyJane replied to 1sttimerrt's topic in Seabourn Cruise Line
Just got off the Odyssey. Staff will be retained until the ship is delivered. Each person has their own contract, meaning some have 3-4 months, others 6-9 months, etc. In the meantime, all crew we spoke to are planning to return to the Odyssey to fulfill their contractual obligations. If their contract expires closer to turnover, they will return on another Seabourn ship or pursue other avenues. by the way, the service was outstanding, as it always is!! -
No one knows???

Booked TK last year for our upcoming cruise in April. I do not believe you can book via Seabourn app - I could be wrong. Sign in on Seabourn website. Go to manage your bookings. Scroll down to “Make Dining Reservations.” You’ll be able to select date/time for your reservation. HTH

I’ve been cruising with Seabourn for many years. I’ve always sent my letter w/proof of CCL to Guest Services via Fax. OBC has always been waiting for us upon embarkation although I believe they now show up in your Seabourn account. HTH
