  1. I'll let you know in early April. We've eaten at two of Morimoto'S restaurants, although not the one in Vegas. To be honest though, Nevada doesn't exactly scream "seafood!" to me. 😉 We were really impressed with Nami Sushi in December, so I have high hopes for the Morimoto appetizer.
  2. Any of the one on the deck plan that have the circle mark are triples.
  3. The painkiller is really $3 more, because you have to get the rum floater. 🍹
  4. Serious question. What's the $11.50 drink you all need? Don't say that the Cosmo or the Mai Tai are over the limit. (Unless that's your go-to drink.)
  5. There is often a Dutch night in the Lido. Sadly, the Dutch hats are no more.
  6. I did not mean to cause confusion. Give me enough tries to explain myself, and I eventually make sense. (Usually.)
  7. Does my 4* half-off, mini bar discount make it a micro bar? 😉
  8. U, usually with 2 other characters, is the promo code that gets entered or shows up when they price your booking. The HEP (email) or HAL (postal mail) offer codes are the ones that indicate the "deal" you're booking under. TAs and HAL reps can probably provide more detail. I think the U promo codes are often part of casino offers. It's the offer code HEP/HAL that you enter, which "brings along" the promo codes for your deal, that ultimately determine what you are getting. I see my proko codes in the fine print under my offer emails.
  9. The name has been changed to protect the innocent, but the bar code says 9827000051787400
  10. Nope. Cruised in December. Next one is at the end of March. The info has to do with a change on the 25th of January. My PCC used to be able to edit our check in time. There was a short window between the time boarding/check in was assigned and the time boarding locked. Your time used to be editable prior to "lock." My guess is that most people were unaware. I knew about it because we were on the Nieuw Statendam right after she returned from Europe. We had boarding group A, with a check in time of 1:00 pm. We're also 4*with priority boarding. I thought that was kind of late, given that FLL iusually starts boarding at 11-ish. So I called. The late start was due to the return from Europe. Extra inspections, crew turn, etc. The last check in times on our sailing were around 2:30. That happened to be really close to all aboard. I called about our upcoming trip - for a completely unrelated reason - and the new procedure came up. I don't interpret it as "everyone shows up at once." I read it as meaning you can safely get there 90 minutes prior to the departure. I simply wanted to pass along the change. I won't see a boarding pass for a few weeks, so I guess I'll know when I see ours. Our old one, pre January 25, read like you describe yours. You can see it below. If I remember, I'll follow up when the new one arrives.
  11. HEP is HAL email promo. The number part is the year and the cycle. 2406 would would be 2024 cycle 6. The C means casino. CI is casino insiders. I think CV is casino VIP. Someone who has the offers can probably decode the rest.
  12. 1/25/24 - Change to Assigned Check In Times Program We have phased out assigned check in times. Note that guests who had a time assigned may arrive to the terminal to check in from noon to 1.5 hrs prior to the published departure time. If you see a message that states "To Be Assigned" on your eDocs or Navigator boarding pass you are allowed to check in any time between noon and 1.5hrs prior to the published departure time on your itinerary.
  13. You can use the promo OBC from the "community appreciation" offers for tips. You can't cash it out or use it in the casino.
  14. What's the campaign code on the email? It'll probably start with HEP.
  15. @crystalspin Nailed it. You can add HIA to the nonrefundable deposit fare if you want. Besides the Advantage fare, there are often additional fare codes available, like Top 10, Mariner, Canada Super Saver, etc. that you won't see on the website. A TA or PCC will be able to tell you about all the options.
  16. No. You do not have to pay for CO wait list.
  17. You'll see NS next to the no sugar added items. It'll be in the Lido and on all the menus. Just remember that NS means no sugar added. You can have an NS item that is naturally high in sugars, so it's a little bit of work.
  18. They changed that on 1/25/2024. It's now the boarding time. We have a booking coming up and received an email to that effect. I don't know if that will clear up confusion, or just make a new kind.
  19. We found the service in the CO dining room to be on par with fixed MDR seating. That's not a complaint. It's a compliment. We did request the same server every night though. I don't think that's the norm, but it worked for us
  20. Yes there is a waitlist. This is going to sound like I'm making it up, but I am not. Your booking needs to be wait listed with the an earmark. The earmark is COW for Club Orange Waitlist. I have no idea how well it works because I check CO availability before booking.(Also retreat cabana availability and upgrade room availability. It's a lot of work to vacation.)
  21. No. We live in some shoreside condos. They are nowhere near that big. 😁
  22. When you are looking at these itineraries, they end in either a C or an L. It would be easier to tell them apart if HAL used a capital letter at the end. They do not. C means Cruise first. L means Land first. The Ls tend to be more relaxing because you end on the ship. The Cs usually cost a little less.
  23. Just looked at my end of March Rotterdam booking. There's only Stream & Premium. Really disappointed that they did not call it Streamium.
  24. It would be extremely rare to see Club Orange available so close to sailing. It usually sells out far in advance. Here is the program page. Download the PDF to see what you would have gotten. https://www.hollandamerica.com/en/us/onboard-experiences/dining/club-orange
  25. That means you are kind of a big deal. Answer well! 😎
