  1. AA outbound and DL return. You can call them if your TA tells them you will be making contact.
  2. Just booked flights through Regent Custom Air on Monday. We got EXACTLY what we wanted...1 stop between Savannah and Tokyo, same on return, and first class on both domestic legs. No upcharge, only then $175pp fee for custom air. Some thoughts on the process... I spent a LOT of time studying all the options so I knew exactly what itineraries were possible. I also priced everything with and without using points so that I could compare to any upcharge I might have been encountered. I knew what the air credit would be if I chose to book.our flights on may own. I made sure all my info was entered with Regent including our passports numbers. I called exactly 270 days before our first flight and I called at exactly the minute the air department opened. Most importantly, I had my TA call the reservation department and tell them that I would be calling the air department myself. The result.....within 15 minutes I had my desired itinerary, had seats reserved and got a thank you from the agent for being organized and not taking any more of her time than absolutely necessary.
  3. We were in Casablanca in 2018 and you could not pay me to go back! We had a local guide who got visibly scared when we visited the souk. He was running to get out and yelling for all of us to run too! A couple of our group were literally accosted..items shoved into their hands and then threatened if they didn't pay. Someone on the bus took a picture of a guy outside and the guy tried to get on the bus to demand payment..the bus driver had to struggle to keep him off. The mosque was interesting but it was made very clear to us that we were NOT welcome, only tolerated because the cruise line makes donations. A dirty, scary, unfriendly place. Pick another excursion that is not in Casablanca.
  4. Disney has adults only pools, restaurant seatings and entertainment!!!!!! We did a Disney cruise and rarely saw any kids! In fact, there was a couple we thought was childless also because they were always at the adults only venues.....saw them at the Orlando airport with FOUR little ones in tow! I would cruise Disney ANY time over Princess but they are more expensive.
  5. I am very sympathetic to every company dealing with staffing issues. It c definitely puts them in a difficult situation. At the same time, that's not my problem and if I am paying for a service, I expect to receive that service.
  6. On Caribbean Princess from 11/13 to 11/23. Almost zero masking on the ship, passengers or crew and virtually none on shore. If there was any Covid, we didn't hear about it. We are vaxxed with 2 boosters and also had our flu shots. Tested after being home 3 days just to be sure..both negative.
  7. But I don't think the ground people in Cartagena have any access to the Princess electronic info.....at least I HOPE not!!!!!
  8. Cannot agree more!!!! We did the same thing....buffet, room service, Crown Grill and Sabatinis but NO to the dining rooms.
  9. Wait......your husband was sharing a cabin with you and was allowed to go roaming about the ship???? That's absolutely absurd. Even if he tested negative, he could be carrying the virus at any time and test negative the next day! What a bonehead move by Princess.
  10. If you park in the Heron deck, it will cost you $15 a day but it is easy on and off the ship. We carried our own luggage and we were off the ship at 7:45 and in our car by 8:15.
  11. We were in Cartagena the week before Thanksgiving and showed NOTHING! No vaccination card, no test, nothing.
  12. You don't know that for sure! Some cases are so mild that you will never realize you had it! My husband had it with very mild symptoms. I decided to test although I had zero symptoms.....not even so much as a runny nose......and tested positive for 11 days!!! I would never have known!
  13. Don't believe there is a health survey now. When we went on November 13, I forgot to fill it out and was never asked for it.
  14. LOL. There the same day with Princess. Dane dog, same crock.
  15. Generally you will be dropped right at the shopping area. Unless you are a diver or want to sit at the beach, there is not much to do in Grand Cayman so your plan is the best!
  16. Yes, Princess does. We were in the first group to disembark at Port Everglades on Wednesday. Met in Island Dining room at 7:30 and were in our car in the parking deck by 8.
  17. Gave a $20 to our two favorite bartenders and they were SO pleased! Gave $100 to your awesome stateroom steward and he was over the moon! Such a small price to make hard workers happy!
