Good evening, I just had a breaking news report about a shark fatality attack in the Bahamas. According to Reuters, the 58 yr old woman and family were pax on Harmony. The attack happened off Paradise Island. It did not state it was a ship excursion. Prayers for the family.🙏

My 8 month old microwave died this morning, tried to get thru to the warranty company and had to listen to 3 sales pitches for nothing related to a warranty issue and no way to speak with a human. Not worth the aggravation for 200.00. Already taken to recycling center. Target had a new one on sale for 80.00 On a brighter note, went to Bird in Hand Fire Company for takeout Chicken BBQ dinners. I’m on Nieuw Statendam Oct 2nd. Same situation, when I booked I wa told w/o booster I needed a PCr test 72 hours before and 2 doses was Okay. Now, according to this list I need 1 booster. I had a reaction to the 1st two and have since developed some other arm/hand issues. I guess I need to talk to my TA in Tuesday. Thank goodness I have insurance for CfAR.

Good morning and thanks for the update. It’s a cool morning and supposed to be a nice day. Fluff goes to the vet to get her sutures removed and then we have a break till Ninja goes on the 15th . I had an email from HAL overnight that will affect those of you on the October 8 sailing from Quebec( I disembark that day) The ship is now arriving at Pier 30. Guests with HAL transfer will be taken care of , independent travelers need to take note. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists. 🙏❤️

It happened to me on the Veendam NYE cruise. The ship was going to dry dock upon return so no passengers waiting to board . I think we docked around noon time and my flight was around 3pm.

The issue with Tampa is the long amount of time it takes to get out into open water and the possibility of fog out and being unable to sail under the Skyway bridge.

@Cruzin Terri, So sorry to hear today did not turn out as you hoped. I’m now waiting almost a month to hear from my Dr about Botox for my Carpal Tunnel and spasticity on my left arm. Prior to Covid, I always received a paper copy onboard, delivered to the cabin. I take with me a copy of the email confirmation received from Barclays.

I have had the card since it was first issued. I’ve used many times for onboard redemption,PG and Shorex and Casino credit.

I always take a copy of the confirmation with me. You should receive a card in your mailbox with information on whatever you redeemed for.
