    Yes, it is our idea of the winter we want to have. It’s subjective! if we want to feel really cold, we can run errands in our bathing suits. It’s optional. on the other hand, we can swim in the ocean in the summer without freezing our a***s off!

    Jacksonville has Mayo Clinic (hospital) and MD Anderson is affiliated with Baptist Hospital. Miles of beaches, and enough winter when we have some days in the 60’s, to make us feel we have 4 seasons. Easy drive to all 3 Florida ports. And not a tourist area!

    I cannot imagine what you are living through. We have plenty of violence here, but at least there’s no fighting between governments here. I hope it stays that way. we have enough with mass killings. we have to continue to pray for a peaceful world.

    Yes, ParkPortCanaveral charges 5 days for a 4 day cruise.

    Where the heck is that? when we’re disembarking, I never think to look, but I’ve never noticed a table on any ship.

    I’m with you, Renee. min the MDR, instead of having to choose which dish I want the most, I’m settling for one I am willing to eat. We’ve lost the available every day list, so no more shrimp cocktail every night. it’s going to be like a temporary tax that never goes away. If we’re filling cruise ships, why would they go back to spending more money on us.

    Probably gets moved to Clarence House. That’s where the Queen Mum lived. I think she was also Queen Consort.

    The lighter colored countertops will really brighten up the kitchen! what was the reason for going with the pull out large freezer door instead of the two drawers you had before? we’re thinking about doing the reverse. Sorry if you already told us. I’m working backwards trying to catch up!

    What a lovely breakfast in such a wonderful morning! This is a monumental day for the UK and anglophiles all over the world. I wish King Charles a peaceful reign and one that shows his ability to rule wisely.

    I sure hope it will still be in. Cats started on Oasis years ago and is still playing.

    And the beach was stones! The one we went to was (I think) Stony Meadows. I wondered why everyone wore sneakers or what I thought were slippers. Then I tried to walk to the water. Yikes!

    When I was growing up we were told we were really in South Georgia. Now we’re northerners? I don’t know if that is an upgrade or a downgrade. And you all can’t possibly be singular! Unless you consider a human to be plural by counting various body parts!

    Y’all is plural. Short for you all, which is plural and a shorter way to say all of you, You is what we say to one person. Y’all is what we say to more than one. That’s how we tell Southerners from pseudoSoutherners!
