  1. Hi all, we are going on Carnival Vista in Nov. and wondered if anyone had tips, tricks, recommendations for Vista? First time sailing her class ship. Have sailed Dream Class and Mardi Gras. TIA!
  2. We have a private excursion that the meeting place is Simpsons Bay Yacht Club and we need to take a taxi to there. Does anyone know where you get a taxi at Phillipsburg Cruise port? Anyone have a map of the port showing where the exit is to the taxi's? Thank you!
  3. here is the included salmon dinner at pig and anchor on MG.
  4. my husband got the 16 oz cut prime rib and it was 18$. I believe there was a smaller cut offered for slightly less.
  5. Have a Blast! We have sailed on Celebration, but have sailed her sister ship, Mardi Gras. the shows in the main atrium, which can be seen from decks 6, 7 and 8 are phenomenal. Enchanted, I believe the name was Broadway quality. The Cucina Italian restaurant, Chi Bang (Chinese/Mexican) and Pig and Anchor all have dinner in included. Pig and Anchor was the only one for dinner you don't sign in on the hub app, just go there and enjoy (salmon was delicious). As the previous post stated, definitely look at deck plans to get a feel for the layout and what is where based on you interests.
  6. Were on MG over Christmas cruise. The dinner at Pig and Anchor was great! Salmon entree was delicious and husband had the prime rib (extra $) was outstanding.
  7. cruised on MG over Christmas, in 5207, which was a spa cove balcony cabin. very quiet loved the location being close to decks 6, 7 and 8.
  8. first tries on a cruise: escargot ceveche (in port) indian cuisine (was very spicy) pork belly
  9. She was the CD on our first cruise on the Dream back in 2015 i think.... She was actually one of the first CD's who started the veterans tribute. on that first cruise it was held in the piano bar, and it was standing room only.
  10. Hi, I have ordered the bearnaise sauce on the side, and it goes pretty well with salmon, its basically hollandaise with tarragon.
  11. WOW, first time i have seen the chilled cucumber soup in years! Love that soup.
