koalapanda Posted January 12, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2018 Having an interest in the Cuisines of the world and knowing that Israel has a population of diverse origins makes my mouth water. The Herald arrived with an article about Ashod which set my mind off thinking about a taste of Israel. It brought back a vivid recall of viewing Chef Yotam Ottolenghi's TV series . Has anyone experienced a foodie tour or know of one in Israel. Experienced cruisers can you help me.

Rare Keith1010 Posted January 20, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 20, 2018 Glad you have found a tour that will work. A few years ago at an evening event we enjoyed an absolutely lavish meal of local foods. I am hungry thinking about it. Yes you read from right to left. But you eat like you would in the USA. However, I am a lefty and we don't always eat the way many of the righties eat. But it does go into one mouth. Isn't that so? LOL. Keith

koalapanda Posted January 28, 2018 Author #11 Share Posted January 28, 2018 I am amused to see some humorous slants on the original subject. "For Keith" Thank you for all the informative detail, delightful posts and photos you have shared on Cruise Critic. Such help in our research for our April Cruise "Arabian Gems and Holy Lands" has been of great help to us. Although we are not quite clear with our tours yet. The anticipation of this adventure through your eyes has raised a great deal of excitement . Much appreciated.
