nabullet Posted January 23, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2018 I am not sure if this is the correct forum or not, so please forgive it is not. We are looking for a cruise the would hit all of these 5 ports, Rome, Florence, Athens, Venice, and Naples. If this is not possible we would still like to hit Athens and then Italy. With that in mind, is there any way to choose a cruise by the ports we would like to visit rather than the 'from' port? We are looking to sail in the 2nd half of 2019. Thank you, in advance, for any help you can provide. Again, if this is the wrong place to post this, please let me know.
Kartgv Posted January 23, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Yes, there is at least one online travel agent website which includes "All ports or places to visit" in its search criteria. Wish I could tell you which one, but it's against Cruise Critic rules to name TA's. Just look at a handful of websites when you search for cruise specialist TA's and look at their search criteria. Another option is call or visit several agencies and just ask if they can help you find the right cruise.
Sixtytwo Posted January 23, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Check cruises departing from Venice and I bet you will find what you are looking for. Since you know your preferred travel months, narrow the search to just those months. Good luck! Sent from my iPad using Forums
Rare Essiesmom Posted January 23, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2018 What you want is http://www.cruisetimetables.com. Choose the ports you want to visit from the Ports of Call list. It will tell you who is calling there and their itineraries. It is not a travel agent website. EM
Rare Keith1010 Posted January 23, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Yes, start with cruises that depart from Venice or from Rome. You will find many that touch some of the ports you mention. Also enlist the help of a Travel Agent. Keith

whogo Posted January 23, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 23, 2018 The shortest cruise I have found that ticks all your boxes is a 12 night Norwegian Star cruise: Sunday, November 10 Venice, Italy 5:00pm Monday, November 11 Kotor, Montenegro 2:00pm 8:00pm Tuesday, November 12 Dubrovnik, Croatia 8:00am 6:00pm Wednesday, November 13 Corfu, Greece 10:00am 4:00pm Thursday, November 14 Santorini, Greece 2:00pm 10:00pm Friday, November 15 Athens (Piraeus), Greece 7:00am 7:00pm Saturday, November 16 Mykonos, Greece 7:00am 4:00pm Sunday, November 17 At Sea Monday, November 18 Naples (Capri), Italy 8:00am 6:00pm Tuesday, November 19 Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy 8:00am 8:00pm Wednesday, November 20 Florence / Pisa (Livorno), Italy 7:00am 7:00pm Thursday, November 21 Marseille, France 11:00am 6:00pm Friday, November 22 Barcelona, Spain 7:00am Norwegian Jade's 14 night itinerary round trip from Civitavecchia on October 24, 2019 also hits all your ports. I'd want to spend time in Rome before or after the cruise, it is hard to see much of the city during a port stop. I don't know if my search parameters found all the cruises. Some cruise lines may not have published their itineraries for the last half of 2019.
bigwally Posted January 23, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 23, 2018 We are looking for a cruise the would hit all of these 5 ports, Rome, Florence, Athens, Venice, and Naples. If this is not possible we would still like to hit Athens and then Italy. It'll be tough to find a cruise like that to include Florence - I can see you having to do Florence as part of a pre-cruise or post-cruise extension. So with that said, for ourselves we're looking at Pacific Princess for October 30th of next year. Hits all the rest of your ports with an overnight in Venice on the way out. So you could do that itinerary and then maybe do an extra day or tow in Rome and/or Florence post-cruise? :) Edit: I stand corrected - see post above mine.
