Some people are just lucky. Like all those people who win the Cash Cube. We had a person in our group who won over $5000 the first night on the ship playing roulette of all things. He was young and I tried to get him to put at least $4000 away but he didn't, and by the end of the cruise had lost it all plus another $1800.

Go to manage, then My VIFP. You can enter your or someone else's VIFP#. Once you enter the number click Special Offers. You will know immediately if you get a free cabin. Good luck!

When I go to manage, and My VIFP my number is already entered. There is no option to check anyone else's.

1) Log yourself "out".

2) Click on "join".

3) Create an account for your son/daughter or whomever by entering in their past guest number. If you don't know it, enter their last name & DOB and it will find it for you.

4) when you create the account, it gives you the option of the User Name to be an email address or an actual word. Do NOT make their User Name your email address or it won't let you go further. Just make it a word. It is not case sensitive but you may need to use letters/numbers combo.

5) create a password. I use the same password each time I created an account for each of my 4 family members.

You will need to "log in" and then "log out" to check the next person's offers. It will say "Hi Susie", or whatever each time. Then you can check the "profile" for each and manipulate the email addresses, see cruise history, etc.

You don't have to do all that to check for others in your household that may have a special offer.

Click this link in blue: Look up My VIFP Club # then enter the name and birth date of the person you are trying to locate offers for.

Click SEARCH then click SUBMIT and you will see their offers.

You can do this for all of your family members.

So I just booked a new cruise which prompted me to start reading CC again. I learned that Carnival is giving away free cruises. I immediately checked my VIFP# and NOTHING. I then proceeded to check every single family member that went with us on our last cruise. I got to my evil MIL and sure enough: FREE FLIPPIN CABIN!!!!! Are you kidding me?!? Not me, not my husband, not my dear sweet parents but HER!!!! She is the meanest person on the earth.

 

I had the pleasure of calling her to tell her that she won the vacation lotto and her total response was "Cool."

Cool?!? Cool?!? I just dropped thousands of dollars on the same cruise that you are about to get for free!!!! I'm just trying to let this sink in. Oh, guess who she wants to help her plan it? Surprise. Surprise.

You know, I'm just not a lucky person. I didn't think for one second that me or anyone else I knew would get free cruise. Why would we?!?

I'm just a boring, middle class, girl from Kentucky that loves her dogs probably more than I should. I don't smoke, I barely drink, i go to Church, I workout and eat crazy things that are supposed to be good for me just so I can live a few extra days. I do everything "right". Then there's that thing and she got a free cruise.

Maybe that's the problem....Thin, fit, healthy nonsmokers who don't drink, are less to produce bar, specialty restaurant and casino revenue. If they give you the cabin free too they won't make much money.

I would have put that away and started planning my next cruise. :) I am no longer young though. :(

I think you have a valid point. We did not gamble, we did not buy one picture. We did purchase FTTF and CHEERS for both my husband and I (I said I barely drink, I didn't mention that when I'm on vacay I tend to put a few more back so we thought this would be a good deal, I won't buy it again) she gambled a lot and bought so many pictures that I'm convinced she had to be buying pics of strangers cause we did not take that many!

Am I the only person laughing uncontrollably? This post is so funny! I checked my entire family accounts as well...NOTHING.

Then when I talked to my DA (Aunt) she said someone called her saying she won a cruise... :eek:WHATTT?! We are calling CCL as soon as I get off work in 5 minutes! Fingers crossed. I believe they were calling to say your reservation on the Sunshine has been booked.
