Can you pre-order Acqua Panna?

I'd rather drink tap water than aquafina. But I might need a bottle when I leave the ship. Anyone know how much a single bottle costs at the bar? Yes I can and should bring my own water bottle.

The OP asked about Aqua Panna, not Aquafina. I agree with you though about this in the Leaning Tower of Pisa plastic bottle category.

My preference is to buy Acqua Panna. I would prefer to buy it online or by phone and have it delivered to my room.

If that is not possible, if I can only get it on the casino, then I'll drink something else. If I can buy at the bar I would do that.

I asked price for Aquafina to do what lots of people do, buy one bottle, drink it and refill with tap water. I suppose one bottle must be about $3. I wasn't going to bring my own water bottle, but maybe I'll just do that.

I'm used to Viking where they hand you water bottles when you leave the ship.

Oh wow, that's nice. I've looked into their cruises but so far have not pulled the trigger.

Thank you!

On the Sun in October, Acqua Panna could be purchased at the bars and there was a large bottle of it (and a Pellegrino) in our stateroom for purchase via the room steward. No discount packages like with Aquafina. I think the large bottle of AP was $5.50 and the small bottle (which was hard to find at the bars) was around $3.75.

Thanks very much for your reply. I will ask at one of the bars when I get onboard. I am totally new to NCL, still learning how they do things. Just finding out where to buy water takes more effort than it should.

I don't see Acqua Panna as an option to pre-order on ncl.com. I only see Aquafina. Is AP still available? Is it only available to order onboard?

When I pre-ordered water on NCL.com last January, the website showed Aquafina, but I got a case of Acqua Panna delivered to my cabin on Epic. I totally get your dislike of Aquafina - but I figured it was better than nothing, so I ordered it. So pleasantly surprised! :D

Because it was stocked in Europe?

So Sam, do you mean you ordered Aquafina but got Acqua Panna instead? I think it's great if you can order that from your cabin instead of having to go to the bar or casino as some people have had to do.

I won't suffer if I can't get bottled water but NCL should make it easier to get something if they offer it. Or they should just say "sorry you can't have XYZ".

Valerie, all water is better if it's European. Perrier, San Pellegrino, Acqua Panna etc... :D

My point was that the Epic probably had Acqua Panna instead bc it was restocked in Europe.

I found that I could NOT pre-order.

Once in my cabin I called room service and ordered a dozen bottles to be delivered.

Turn around day is hectic, so you can't expect instant service if you go that route.

Another time I asked my room steward and he handled it for me by the first evening.

Another ship, it was only found in the seafood restaurant and ordered it from there.

Had it sent to our cabin.

Not all bars nor restaurants OR casinos carry it.

Depends on the ship.

It can be a hassle the first few hours on board, but it can be worked out.

I transfer the larger water bottles, once they arrive, (Open one at a time) into small empty 12 oz. water bottles I carry on board, plus a few in my packed luggage.

I take it with me all over the ship, even when dining and have no qualms about placing my bottle on the table and even pouring it into a glass if I desire.

If I take a 12 oz. bottle off the ship I make sure it's empty when re-boarding but it's IN my purse.

NOT just laid out in plain sight in case you get a moody inspector.

It's why I take at least 6-8 empty bottles in my luggage.

Hope this helps you.
