What time for a Civitavecchia limo pick up upon disembarkation?

We will be disembarking in Civitavecchia at 5am per itinerary, for Rome. We want to arrange a limo service to take us to our Rome hotel. How do we know what time to tell them? As how would we know what time group Princess will assign to us? We are not in a category that would give us any priority disembarkation.

Plan on the drive to the hotel taking around 90 minutes assuming you are staying in downtown Rome.

Unless you see a need to rush off the ship consider a pickup at around 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM.

Remember if you plan to tour that day and the room is not ready to carefully think what you will do with valuables, etc. Often the hotels have a safe behind the reception area but I would verify that.

You should go with the limo company recommendation, they know it better.

Some time mid-cruise you will have to fill in your disembarkation requirements. You can request an approximate time and then you will get a luggage tag accordingly. If Princess have the same system across the line, if you want to walk off with your own luggage you will have to go early. Not sure how early that would be for a 5 am arrival.

In your position I would try to leave the ship around 7.30 am and suggest to the shuttle an 8 am departure. That would give you time to have a last decent breakfast on the ship.
