hawkeyetlse Posted January 15, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 15, 2018 King's Wharf is the name of one of the berths at the Royal Naval Dockyard. Don't worry, your itinerary has not changed. :)
MJSailors Posted January 15, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 15, 2018 Typical NCL to Bermuda itinerary. Perhaps you should get a Bermuda guide book to help familiarize yourself with that beautiful country.
Rare shof515 Posted January 15, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 15, 2018 This is a map of the Navel Dockyard area: The two berths in the Dockyard is called King's Wharf and Heritage Wharf. From what i noticed over the years, Norwegian Breakaway always docked at Heritage Wharf. According to the Bermuda cruise ship schedule, Norwegian Escape is also docking at Heritage Wharf. On the NYC to Bermuda cruises, they will be another ship docked at Kings Wharf. You will have another ship next to you during your 3 day stay in Bermuda. ColinIllinois Posted January 15, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 15, 2018 This is a map of the Navel Dockyard area: Funny, it doesn't look like a belly button.
hawkeyetlse Posted January 15, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 15, 2018 Looks like the OP looked up their cruise here on Cruise Critic, and according to Cruise Critic, Royal Naval Dockyard is "generally referred to by cruise lines as King's Wharf" (even if the ship actually docks at Heritage Wharf). I don't know if other cruise lines really follow this misleading practice, but NCL does not. The port is correctly identified as "Royal Naval Dockyard" in NCL documents. Budget Queen Posted January 15, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 15, 2018 Same area. I've been on NCL multiple times and have used both docks. The ship certainly can not dock in St George or Hamilton. :)
