Debitoo Posted September 26, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2012 If I book a specialty restaurant on line, do they charge my credit card right then or do they add the charge to my sea pass when I'm on board? I have OBC that I'd like to use for the Celebration Deal that has to be booked before the cruise. TIA!
akcruz Posted September 26, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 26, 2012 They are charged as soon as the reservations are made. The only way to have them come out of your OBC is to book after boarding.

Anything you book on Royal's website before the cruise is charged to your credit card immediately. If you want to use OBC, you must wait until you are on board. jdvmd Posted September 26, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 26, 2012 Can anyone tell me how far in advance you can book the specialty restaurants? Specifically Giovanni's Table. What is the cost also?
cruzinjudi Posted September 26, 2012 #6 Share Posted September 26, 2012 I got a certificate for one night at a speciality restuarant from my travel agent -It cannot be made over the computer--when I board the oasis can someone tell me where I go to make reservations-do I have to go to each restaurant or is there a central place that can help me? bouhunter Posted September 26, 2012 #8 Share Posted September 26, 2012 That's what I was afraid of...:(. Thanks! Look at the bright side, your meal will be paid for ahead of time and the OBC will be available for drinks and other things:D
f1mauro Posted September 26, 2012 #9 Share Posted September 26, 2012 Giovanni's table was EXCELLENT. Going to try to hit it a couple times on my next cruise.

We, and quite a few others, think that it is even better for lunch than for dinner. :)
