Does Skype work onboard the Quest?

I know this has been discussed, but I didn't see anything recent specifically about using skype onboard if we have the unlimited internet package. We will be on the Quest 12/22 sailing thru Caribbean. If not, I guess I could seek out an Internet cafe while in port. Thanks for your help.Robin

Same question for Journey as over the festive period I might want to check in with some folks back home. No disaster if I cannot but it would be nice....especially if my son overcomes his knee disability

Alas Azamara internet connection is not the best.

We used Skype audio only on Journey and Quest.

Never could get a decent video connection.

Face time sometimes worked .

We used messenger call and whats app call in the South China Sea and audio was fine. Never tried skype with video.

Thanks everyone! We will try just the audio portion. This will be mostly to return business calls so I don't need them to see me poolside;)

We use WhatsApp while aboard.

On our February/March Australia & New Zealand cruise, we used FaceTime several times to video chat with our grandchildren in the United States. I don't remember having any connection problems.
