We are cruising this summer and want to visit Tulum during our stop in Cozumel. If I buy it now and then we change our mind prior to the cruise can I cancel or am I locked in once I purchase?

You can cancel prior to sailing with a full refund. You can cancel on embarkation day with a 25% penalty.

U can cancel even when on the ship as long as it's 24 hours before the date of the excursion. They've even let that slide before when I wasn't feeling good and canceled 12 hours before

Yes you can cancel prior to the cruise.

I cancelled prior to boarding and the refund went to method of original payment.

An excursion was once cancelled after boarding by the ship/vendor due to inclement weather and the refund went to my S&S account.

I have no personal knowledge of refund method if the passenger cancels after boarding, so will leave that scenario for someone else.

When excursions have been cancelled due to weather while onboard, the refund was applied to my s&s card.
