Non-Diamond in the same cabin as a Diamond

Just a quick question I have searched on the forums for, but have been unable to find the answer. If I am Diamond and my cabin partner is not, does that person get Diamond benefits?

The would have to be linked by Crown & Anchor before the cruise. Just being in the same stateroom would not give them Diamond perks.

Simple answer is no.

The only "benefit" is being able to board with you and your Diamond status rather than whatever lower status they have. Otherwise they do not have the ability to attend any Diamond events or use the Diamond Lounge.

Some cruise lines (Celebrity) extend some level benefits for that cruise, to cabin mates. Royal does not.

The actual answer is YES as long as they are your partner and they are linked by Crown & Anchor prior to sailing (wife, partner, etc - living in the same house).
