Quebec - Boston Transport

When my parents did that trip they ended up deciding it was more cost effective to take the return trip on the Dawn. They looked into flying, trains and renting a car and in the end figured the cost of the 2nd trip was worth it. They're lucky that they can take 2 weeks off to do something like that though.

Most flights will make connections in Montreal, Toronto, or JFK. Trains will connect through Montreal. Just google airlines who fly out of Quebec City or Amtrak and Via Rail for train service.

Quebec seems to be one of those places to which you cannot get from here : wherever "here" happens to be.

Flying from almost anywhere in the US seems to require a change of planes - often in Detroit. Trains means going via Montreal to New York - which would require an overnight stay before getting a train to Boston. The most practical method would be to rent a car in Quebec and drop it off in Boston - not great, but better than the miserable set of alternatives.
