Cashing out OBC

If you want to use OBC to play in the casino you can but they don’t give cash, you get promo chips or promo loaded on your cards for slots. In the slots it plays down your promo until Done and you can cash out any winnings. If you put in $100 promo and cash out when you have played only $50. The remainder $50 goes back on your card as promo and you can cash out any winnings.

SO what are the otpions for getting out your OBC?

Or what about if you have a "cash" account and want to access some $ for the casino?

There's 2 types of OBC (refundable and non). If it's refundable you can get your money. If it's not and most falls into this category then you have to use it on the ship. You can use either type in the Casino, but with the Non refundable you have to actually gamble with it. Any winnings you can keep the cash.

Ok..seems much different than Royal.

In the case I have NO obc credit left but still want to play, am I able to take cash out against my seapass account to play in the casino or do whatever I want with it or does that have to be done through guest services?

If you have no OBC on your account (with the fee charged, 5% I think?), they will give you cash, which yes, you can do with as you please.

Just off the eclipse, and if you are a member of the blue chip club, you will see your participation level printed on you sea pass card. If you are onyx or higher (onyx is the 2nd or 3rd lowest rating) you can sign for regular chips right at the gaming table and you will not have to pay the 5% fee.

This is exactly right. Any OBC given to you by Celebrity is non refundable. But if you have OBC from your travel agent, that is refundable. They actually credit it back to your credit card you have on file. On our last cruise, they credited back a little over $300 back to our card. I was worried I'd never see that money, but with in a few days of getting home, it showed up:)

We had $200 unused non-refundable OBC recently and visited the roulette table. After about 20 spins with $5 chips on both black and white resulted in $175 in winnings with the ball landed twice on Green.

Good result as far as we were concerned as the goods in the shops were excessively priced and definitely not value for money, even free money.
