Need help with a beach question,

I have never been to Grand Turk and was wondering if there is a beach when getting off the ship where we can rent loungers & umbrellas for the day with out having to take a ship tour. We are 4 people in our late 60's so would like something close. Thanks for any advice you can give me

Absolutely. Right there. Loungers with no charge.

I suggest you head to your right off the pier (and out the Dufry shop). There are loungers there without the noise from Margaritaville and there's a nice bar/ grill called Whales Tail where you can get refreshments. Don't recall umbrellas but if you get there early there's shade. All part of the cruise port. No need to go anywhere or on any excursion.

As you get off ship... Beach, chairs, and umbrellas free...

But they fill up fast.....especially with 2 ships in port, like when we were there.

The beach that others have mentioned is really nice.

As soon as the ship arrives I would make my way over there. You just walk to the end of the pier and it's there and is really nice.

FYI some of the chairs and umbrellas are not free. We sat down on one and a person came over wanting money. We got up and moved.

Within the Port Terminal Beach Area ... ALL Beach Chairs are FREE! .... Also, the ones around the pool at Margaritaville! :D

Look at the picture that a previous poster shows. See the umbrellas that are not green, they are not free. Someone will come by demanding money.
