I can’t locate the link to find out how many ships will be in port in Cozumel when we are there. Does anyone have it?

From that list, there are 7 ships in Cozumel on Jan. 22. What can we expect for crowds? Won't be booking excursions, just exploring shops, bars & restaurants.

You can expect it to be crowded, if you want to get away from the crowds try some of the resorts like Playa Azul. Which has free use of the pool and the facilities for the cruise ships.

I usually just google the ship and sail date and on occasion add, group cruise . See what pops up >:D

I found the best is to search by cruise date (mm/dd/yyyy).

For groups we also Google.

We have been in Cozumel with seven ships in port and most recently last year.

Cruissett will show ships in port but not what groups are on a sailing.

It came up as the second hit when I googled "ships in port" but yeah google is a good resource. :)

Check on your ship and departure date in the Roll Call section of CruiseCritic. We did this when we went to the Eastern Mediterranean and met many wonderful people. We ended up arranging group tours in port. This saves money as many operators base their price on the vehicle and not on the number of passengers aboard!

Also see if a meet and greet is being arranged by anyone. It’s a great way to meet with the people you’ve been corresponding with, as well as members to the crew (the cruise director and sometimes the Captain are frequently in attendance).

You can also google the port and "cruise ship calendar" and see if the port's website has a listing (many do) of the ships coming in every day. Often the berths are listed too.
