Welcome back! Glad you had an awesome time:)

Was formal night Monday and Thursday? Yes, Monday and Thursday!

Do you remember which menus were which night? Do you have copies of the menus too? I would love to see the patters if you don't post I will post my email. I don't have copies of menus, but Thursday was Lobster, Friday they had Turkey. Saturday and Wednesday I ate in the specialty restaurants (and Sunday I did ultimate balcony dinner) so I don't have the menus for those nights, sorry!

Looking forward to your review.

I would appreciate having a copy of the Patters. If you decide not to post them, my email address is kacruiser@sbcglobal.net.

Which speciality dining did you do? Since you are in a suite, how was the complimentary speciality dining handled for your first night? Did you eat in Sabatinis for breakfast? Thanks for posting your info and looking forward to your review!

I'll post a full review tomorrow, but we had an awesome time!!! Ship was in great condition.

I also saved the Patters and will scan them in on Monday and will post or e-mail them to whoever wants them.

If you have any questions in the meantime, I'll be happy to answer!

-Mark

Thanks Mark, glad you had a great week. Looking forward to your review and a chance to see the Patters. We'll be sailing next month. Mike in CT

Our bed was fabulous, I don't know if it was because we were in a suite or not, but no problems at all with it. (We were on the Caribe deck).

We ate the first night in Sabatinis (the special pasta dish they made for us was outstanding), we just made reservations there like you would any other time, and that night when they asked us for the room card to charge it to, we told them we were in a suite, they reconfirmed it, and we didn't pay anything.

The ship was in great condition (I'll put this all in my review, I need to start writing it now!), I was looking for rust, etc., and remember seeing exactly one rust spot on a bolt. On Friday afternoon they were doing a lot of painting on the upper decks.

Someone posted a while ago about things being threadbare, but I didn't find that. When I was in Skywalkers, I noticed the couches didn't look brand-new (you could see *some* fading), but they were still in very acceptable condition. I had no complaints about the condition of the ship.

Sorry I missed some of the questions. We did eat in Sabatinis for breakfast three or four mornings. (One morning I had the Ultimate Ship Tour so we didn't, one morning we did the buffet just to see how it was, one morning we did breakfast on the balcony). The first morning they asked for our cabin number, but after that, they just know you.

I also don't drink coffee, but like to get my caffeine in the morning with diet soda, and the waiter would always bring me two glasses without even having to ask.

Ultimate Balcony Dining was great. We did it the second night, it was our first anniversary and I wanted to make it special. Totally worth it.

You have to book it while on board the ship.

You can pay for it in advance, but still need to reserve the day and time once on board.

to book ultimate balcony dining, either call room service or the DINE line while on board. I can't remember which one I called, because different staff members were telling me to call different numbers, and because it was embarkation day, I was getting busy signals for a while. But either room service or the Dine Line will get you a reservation.

I'd love to see the Patters; we'll be on her in February. My DH may not want to leave the ship while in port, so it'll be nice to see if there are still activities available for him.

Are the pools open while in port?

The pools are open! In fact, it's the best time to go in them and get a chair near them since they're less crowded! Only things closed are the stores and the casino.

There seems to be a lot going on during the day. I will post the Patters!
