Can we book transfer to airport on ship?

Hi, we have booked our own flights and hotel before our cruise in August on the Connie from Venice to Venice. The hotel is helping us with the transfers from the airport to them and to the ship on embarkation day, so all we need to do now is organise the transfers to the airport when we disembark.

We seem to remember that in the past that people have been able to book transfers on board. Is this still possible or are we best to organise before we go?

Many thanks for you help

Unless things have changed you can purchase prior to cruise but there are a couple quirks.

1. If you booked directly with Celebrity you can book transfers online or via Captain's Club.

2. If your booked or transferred your reservation to a travel agent you have to call your agent to book the transfer.

3. If you book travel via Choice Air you can usually also add on the transfer.

Jim you are correct with 1 and 3, but I'm not sure about 2. Reason I question is that I book through a travel agent and, while I could book transfers with her, I don't because I usually book my own air if we're leaving from US port. I've never had a problem booking transfers with X shore excursions before or during cruise.

Hi Hank ... that sounds a good bet.Are planning a water taxi transfer when we arrive like James Bond but happy to go by land going home.

Using a Water Taxi is one of the real joys of being in Venice :). It's pricey....but lots of fun.
