If you have Cheers and you meet your 15 drinks, can you then PAY for more after the 15 is met?

Also, can you get bottle service once you are ON the ship or ONLY before you sail??

My understanding is that they cut you off completely after 15 drinks. Cannot buy more.

I'm not sure what you mean by bottle service? Bon voyage dept?

Has anyone met the 15 drink limit, I mean wow that is alot.....

I've never done it, but it really isn't a lot with how watered down Carnival's drinks are. I don't drink at all during the day, but I'll usually have 7 or 8 at night. On my last cruise I saw many people pounding them at night to hit their 15 drink limit. They're bad at math and think that's the only way they are getting their money's worth. I think Carnival would do much better getting rid of the limit. It is the crew's job to determine if someone should be cut off. I see numerous people requesting a drink package with an 8 drink cap for like $30/day. That's not the idea. Carnival is hoping that people that pay the $50 will drink 8 or less.

My mom hit the 15 drink limit on a sea day! (Go mom!)

They cut her off completely. She couldn't even get a drink in the casino with her "drinks on us" card. She started with some mimosas in the morning and spread them out all day. She was not visibly intoxicated.

The next day in port we bought her a shirt that said "I only had 1 in Dog Beers). ;)

First of all, have you ever watched a Carnival Bartender mix the drinks? If you are drinking a Classic Margarita, you get 2 shots of the tequila, a shot of the Patron Citronge, and splashes of lime juice. I think you are completely wrong about watered down drinks. If you think you are right, then why do you even buy them?

I agree maybe the fruity drinks by the pool might be watered down--but the

bartenders in the EA Sports Bar on our last two Conquest cruises made some good strong screwdrivers! :)

I made it to 14 one sea day, but then didn't feel like drinking for 2 days...I did anyway. My son-in-law made his 15 several times on a 6-day cruise.

As an old fraternity guy.......glasses up to you. Don't think I could do half of that now and I know my liver is glad I don't. Party on and have a great time.

me and my husband have been on two cruises, and had cheers on both. We both have hit the 15 drink limit several times on each cruise....... during sea days.....

as far as being served after 15,,,,,,, as someone earlier posted, depends on the server..... we have been served, and also have been turned down...... so went to a different bar and bought a drink..........

have to say, we were not up to see sunrise the next morning after the 15 nighters, but we had fun!!: :D

The day runs 24 hrs starting at 6 am. If you start with a mimosa or 2 at breakfast, a beer at lunch, a few Miami Vice or other frozen concoctions around the pool, a couple of glasses of wine at dinner, a cocktail before the show, then couple more at the 2 comedy shows most nights and finally, if one can still walk, a few more in the casino. I believe that's what my son-in-law did.

I was able to almost keep up one day. Probably, half of his were beer, that helps. When not on a cruise, I seldom drink and on most cruises I have only 1 or 2 a day. This last cruise with my DD and her DH, my son-in-law and I got Cheers. First and last time for me.

We've done it several times. As others have posted, it's not terribly difficult on a sea day especially with a mid-afternoon nap! One night in the casino, the waiter let me know that my husband had drinks left on his (he had already gone to bed) and charged mine to his. Guess that's where the extra tipping pays off!

The waiters will usually tell you when you're down to 1 or 2 left. Usually that's a sign that it's time for me to go to bed!
