We had an offer for the Zuiderdam to upgrade from a Veranda cabin to a Signature Suite for 2800 dollars. We will be on the ship for 24 days. Is that a good deal?

If it were a Neptune, then maybe. But I'd say no for a Signature Suite. Was this the first round of upsell offers? Or have you received previous offers?

$2800 total extra cost for both of us. This is our first up sell offer. There are two Signature suites available. The list price difference is about $3000 for both of us. Our Veranda cabin is in the aft.

I'd hang tight and wait to see if they give you a better offer. Personally, this one would not interest me. You, on the other hand, may think it's worth it.

That doesn't sound like a good offer to me.

You can do a lot for that $2800 -- shore excursions!!

Did you get a great deal when you originally booked? If so, it may be worth it but personally, if it was to a Neptune I'd take it but not for a Signature suite.

Interesting, here is a recent thread with what appears to be a way better upsell on the same ship, but 18 days... is your cruise the TA also, but staying on longer?

No, that is not our cruise.
