hollyjess Posted February 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2018 Has anybody seen the new money making idea on Oceana? Apparently most of the horizon is being dedicated to street food i.e. amongst other choices fish, chips and mushy peas in a cardboard container. The price? £3.95 including a soft drink or extra if you want an alcoholic drink. Any more ideas for Pando to make extra money?
davecttr Posted February 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2018 They had this on Oceana at xmas. As the Horizon grill is only a small part of the catering offers and still has burgers/hotdogs and chips free. Horizon is not the buffet on Oceana, that is called the Plaza, Horizon is the outdoor area.

Britboys Posted February 18, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 18, 2018 Sadly, on-board revenue centres are a way of life in cruising now. All mainstream cruise lines are looking for additional ways to part you from your money.
Dorset cruise fan Posted February 18, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 18, 2018 Pleased to hear that there are still the free offerings at the Horizon Grill. It doesn't read that was in the P & O feature.
qm2lover Posted February 19, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 19, 2018 Yes the burgers and hot dogs are still free. But are kept under warming lights. The rolls seemed to become toasted and the lettuce was cooked to a lovely insipid brown colour, the cheese in the burger had melted and become stuck on the paper wrapper and cooked solid. Chips were sometimes quite hard and the coleslaw was dried out. But actually they were quite nice and we enjoyed them a couple of time (Yes, we went back for more!). We didnt try the pay for food and didnt see anyone else trying it either.
