Carnival Elation Embarkation Day Lunch

In the good old days one of the main dining rooms would be open for lunch. It was the moment I knew I was finally done with the hassle of traveling TO the ship, and realizing I was ON the ship.

Grabbing a plate at the buffet is just not the same... but I'll take it.

On the lido you have choices-guys' burgers, blue iguana cantina, pizza, deli, and a hot lunch from the "international" buffet. I usually make a salad, and get some meat, and choose a few desserts. Ah Happy! If it's been a while since you cruised, and thought that the MDR was open, then you don't know about the huge plates! but no tray. The plates on the lido are about the size of a tray.
