Yes there are and no one seems to think she could have fallen overboard without climbing the railings or jumping - whether she'll tell the truth about what happened we may never know - unless the CTV which is rumoured to have filmed it is made public

And who will pay for the search and rescue? and all the people who missed their flights home from Venice? In the latter instance the insurance companies I suppose

One report said her top item of clothing was found on the deck near where she went overboard.

If true, that would most likely explain why there are images of her being hauled out of the water wearing only a bra or bikini top above the shorts.

It is reported that she had been arguing with her boyfriend and was also drunk. Apparently she did jump!

All those suffering financial loss will get no compensation unless their insurance company pay.

no point in suing her for the money, she hasn't any apart from what the newspaper will pay for the story.

Seems wrong that somebody can cause so much disruption that impacts on so many others without having to answer for it.

No criminal offence. they could charge her for expenses incurred while aboard the ship but of course as soon as she fell/jumped she was not on the ship!

I came across this on Daily Mail online.

According to the Cruise Lines International Association, man overboard cases are not common - but there are no official statistics on the annual number.

Its report said last year: 'Without exception, when investigations of MOB incidents are successfully concluded it is found that they were the result of an intentional or reckless act'.

In which case maybe it's time to make it an offence ?

Having said that, it is probably easier to say than implement due to overlapping legal jurisdictions.

She should be forced to have psychiatric help if she jumped and banned from all cruise lines if she fell fooling around whilst under the influence
