Rare Turtles06 Posted August 31, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 31, 2018 Thanks for your report, but I am on the Zuiderdam right now, and we did not leave Akureyri, Iceland, on Aug. 30 as scheduled, because a gale was forecast to blow in around northern and western Iceland. We are spending Aug. 31 anchored off Akureyri, and hopefully will be able to call at Isafjordur on Sept. 1, a day late. Our two days in Reykjavik have been pushed back to September 2 and 3, and our upcoming call at Paamiut, Greenland, has been cancelled to keep us on schedule. :( Our port call at Isafjordur on Aug. 29 was cancelled a day in advance because of predicted weather, and we instead sailed to Akureyri a day early, docking around noon on Aug. 29. So we are now on our second night in Akureyri.
