Hi Everyone,

Jingles here too. This forum has made me so prepared for our first cruise in 21 days - wahoo. I too visit everyday but don't always post, doesn't mean I'm not here. Have been visiting for over a year now, must say it's had it's ups and downs and yes some names have disappeared (which isn't always a bad thing).

It's just nice to know you can always ask a question and someone will be able to answer it and not make you feel silly.

Cheers

Jingles:D

PS Did I mention it's only 3 weeks or 21 more sleeps till our cruise. Aaaarrrghhhh, excited and nervous and panicky all at the same time. Must get on to that packing list.:)

Hi...

another "oldie" signing in...we still read the boards every day, and are still here - over on the roll call with Westaussie and anglwingflys...we have been very busy moving house etc, but are back "onboard" now...

Yes, a lovely thread Karon...we have been members for 8 years, and still enjoy all the good stuff on here... I know some of the others are over on the "other" forum, which is also good..I read that one too!!...all good info....:)

Hi to all... happy cruising to you!!!

Hi Everyone,

I am still around too... over on rollcall (CC)

for our next cruise , doing a lot of reserch on the net about Bangkok(pre cruise), so I guess I am lurking :(.

but I love to read every post still.

cheers Deb

Make sure you find the time to visit the State Tower in Bangkok!

They have 2 bars that do fantastic cocktails, one up on 63rd floor Sirocco,s and another on the 76th I think?

This is a true 5 star hotel with views to match!

You are allowed to visit for a meal or just a drink.

This is a must do in Bangkok.

We are going to stay a few nights there for my 50th in two years time:eek:

last time we just went for drinks and couldnt believe how great it was.

This place has the "Wow factor":)

Hello everyone, I haven't posted in a while because I haven't cruised recently. I'm booked on the Pacific Sun 8 night West Australian coastal cruise up to Broome in January for hubby's 50th.:)

We are on the cruise to Bali after your cruise!

We should pass each other in freo as we are going nice and early:D

Before my cruise in July I checked this site at least 5 times a day for almost a year lol

I have settled down to checking about twice a day and I am hoping to cruise again next year (need time to save).

It was great to meet others from here on my July cruise, cruise enthusiasm is so contagious!

Hello everyone! Great thread Karon!

I have been a member here for about 2½ years (found the site after our first cruise ... so wish I had found it BEFORE that cruise) - but it has always been a great source of info (and laughs sometimes:rolleyes:)! Have been on two more cruises since that first one!:p

I haven't posted much of late --- two reasons, started a new full time job (after 7 months off:eek:) and don't have a cruise booked ... but I think I'm about to change that any day now - just waiting for the prices to come back from our TA.

I usually check in daily (time permitting) sometimes twice .... you'll probably see/hear me a bit more once we've booked again!:D

Hi all,

I am from Brisbane and joined last week so am very new to this. Great to know that there are so many people that adore cruising as much as i do, i find it is a real holiday for mums with no cooking or cleaning. I just love it :):):) We have cruised twice with our third in Jan 2010 on pacific dawn.

Thanks karon great idea inviting members to say hi it has made it easier for me to post, i look but never say much.

I looked at the Bali cruises but the kids will be back at school by then and the Christmas cruises didn't suit as we have family coming to stay. We are in Bunbury so a holiday without flights is a bonus and even better, no kids!!!!! :):)

Hello from Canberra! I've only just joined CC and I love looking through the posts. I've been taking lots of notes for newbie cruisers. I go on my very first cruise in November and I've talked a friend into coming with me (she didn't need much convincing ;)). Thanks for all the great info!

Welcome to CC. Hope you enjoy your first cruise but beware it's an addiction! What ship are you on?

An oldie is back. I attended counseling to cure my addiction to this site. hee hee. Certainly have cut back on my visiting here and started trying to socialise with my family. But I love this family so much too. :D

Oh, and it is great to see so many Canberrans on here now, it used to be me and one other.
