I have a serious question..

Why does everyone wonder about who the CD is?

What do they do really other than make announcements and introduce people in the shows?

What difference does it make who is on what ship?

If you your CD entertained like Robin WIlliams, or David Frost, which would you preference and book?

 

And if you don't go to the shows, it doesn't really matter.

I see Skippy will be on the Inspiration in Feb and Kevin Noonan on the Liberty in April when we sail.

 

I haven't heard anything about these CD's. How are these two CD's?

 

Looking forward to fun times.

 

I had Kevin Noonan as ACD on the Spirit last April-- thought he was very energetic and funny on the Morning Show (on the TV's CD channel) along with CD Chris Roberts who sadly, has left Carnival.

Never seen an asst CD list.

 

Going on Freedom in Feb. Anybody ever heard of Felipe Couto?

 

Had him on the Inspiration last year and he was quite annoying. YOu couldn't understand a word he said over the PA Sorta like Charlie Brown's teacher!!!:p

No, ours was Risa Barnes, not very entertaining, nice, but...

to me, that was about the end of it.

 

 

No, haven't sailed with John Heald..just Risa.

So far only one cruise..but another coming in about 32 Days!!;)

In January on the Triumph, we will have Jorge..maybe we will

see a difference.:)

I am pretty sure we had Jorge 2 years ago on Imagination with Noonan as a ACD. I liked them both Jorge was very very funny if you went to the shows. He was way better than the comic we had on board.

 

I liked Noonan he was very nice when we saw he around the ship.

 

John Heald was on this cruise as well but as a passenger. I hear everyone speak so highly of him so would of been nice if he would of been on duty!

 

Last year we have a Jennifer, i think it was in Destiny. I was not impressed by her at all. Yet a CD does not make or break a trip for me.

 

Our first year we had a Cd that you loved or hated. I can't remember his name but I thought he was annoying. he ended every annoucement with a little yabba dabba or some thing it was VERY annoying.

 

We will see what Butch does for us in a few week!!

 

I would rather spend a day at see with even a bad CD than any day in my office!!

I also notice the Elation is on charter without a CD for a little over a month? What's up with that?

More like she scarred him for life and he went running for the hills.

I know that Mach saw him debarking the ship really early when we got back.

The CD is in charge of all of the games and activities on the ship.

The Elation is going to be in Vancouver for the Olympics. It will be used as extra housing.

Jeremy Mayes is also known as "Big Tex" (although he has lost about 75 pounds) and he is one of the best CD's with Carnival. His wife is one of the dancers. He was in New Orleans for a few years on the Fantasy.

 

You can check out you tube for a video of Big Tex doing his five dance moves, which is hilarious.

Anyone know anything about Butch?

I loved Butch he was really funny and talks with a crazy awesome accent (i thought) hes from minnesota and he will make sure you know that before your gone haha. he was on the Glory for a while now he is on the Liberty
