Are there single people on cruises?

Yes, there are single people on cruises......however, it may not be in the age bracket you are interested in....or maybe it will be

The 1As can be less expensive for a solo cruiser -- but no big window...

Plan on paying the same rate as if someone is with you... or close to it...

I don't mean cruises that are designed to have single groups. I just mean single people. I'm just wondering.

This was a response to a thread I started a couple of years ago.....Yes many people cruise single/sole....I have had a great time doing it the past couple of years.....Enjoy the reading....I have up to now met 13 of the people who posted on this thread and am going to meet number 14 this year on a cruise......More than a few of the people I have met are sailing solo not single....Though I am single I have fun with solo cruisers....Cool....

I am married. I'm not interested in meeting anyone (for anything other than friendship), but I may be sailing alone. I am not giving up this trip, but, I am hesitant to go alone. I love to read and relax, so if nothing else I get a week away from home, work, etc. and to myself just to chill.

 

I'm doing my first solo cruise in May. I think cruising solo will be fun, and I've read on the solo thread that many, many people cruise solo and from all I've heard, it's a very positive experience.
