Upgrade Fairy

Should I be pleasantly surpired to have an upgrade to a cabin near the back on another level up or my right off the hump cabin on Deck 9. OK this is the story. I coveted the 9580 Cabin on Jewel and today when I checked my reservation I noticed that we were upgraded to a JS on Deck 10 and it was cabin 1582. I will never kick a gift horse in the mouth, but will the upgrade (I have been in a JS and know the size) be a problem at the almost back of the ship. No slamming please, just constructive information. I know how lucky I am.

She's not that big a ship, so the walk won't be bad at all. The only issue you may have is that the Windjammer is now directly above you, and there may be noise from above. But since it's not open at night, it shouldn't keep you from getting a good night's sleep. Enjoy!

Lucky you! The way the cabins are constructed, I doubt the location of the Windjammer would be a negative.

I would say it is a good thing. I would also agree the walk is not bad. A big positive is that you just received an extra cruise credit free of charge.

Had a aft on the Navigator, hated the walk, had a JS aft on the Jewel and loved it, enjoy.
