I need a definitive list of which HAL ships are in which class. I've been picking up bits and pieces from these boards, but need the info all at once in one place. The HAL website wasn't too clear, either. Thank you for your help!:confused:

I too thought the 'sticky' (at the top of the forum) titled "An Introduction to the Ships and Classes of the HAL Fleet" would have been a help. Too bad you didn't see that.

It's easy. All you have to do is remember the four "S" class ships and ignore the rest.

 

(Maasdam lover checking in here) The "S" class MVRS ("Murves") = Maasdam, Veendam, Ryndam, Statendam

I am surpirsed that the Signature Class are somewhat shorter than the VISTA class ships.

When I pulled into Ft. Lauderdale on October 24, 2009, the Eurodam was already there and let me tell you something: As tall as the Zuiderdam is, the Eurodam was even taller.

The numbers seem to vary from place to place. On the front of the pocket maps that we got on board these ships, the lengths are given as

Noordam 935

Eurodam 936

Westerdam 950

Zuiderdam 950

Only the Westerdam agrees with what DDMau found and posted.

One deck more is 10% taller! :)
