shoppern Posted April 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2010 I need a definitive list of which HAL ships are in which class. I've been picking up bits and pieces from these boards, but need the info all at once in one place. The HAL website wasn't too clear, either. Thank you for your help!

Two@Sea Posted April 13, 2010 #5 Share Posted April 13, 2010 There is also a "sticky" thread which has some additional information which may be of interest to you.
Mary Ellen Posted April 13, 2010 #6 Share Posted April 13, 2010 I too thought the 'sticky' (at the top of the forum) titled "An Introduction to the Ships and Classes of the HAL Fleet" would have been a help. Too bad you didn't see that.
SwissMyst Posted April 13, 2010 #7 Share Posted April 13, 2010 It's easy. All you have to do is remember the four "S" class ships and ignore the rest. (Maasdam lover checking in here) The "S" class MVRS ("Murves") = Maasdam, Veendam, Ryndam, Statendam

Himself Posted April 14, 2010 #9 Share Posted April 14, 2010 I am surpirsed that the Signature Class are somewhat shorter than the VISTA class ships. When I pulled into Ft. Lauderdale on October 24, 2009, the Eurodam was already there and let me tell you something: As tall as the Zuiderdam is, the Eurodam was even taller. DDMau Posted April 14, 2010 #10 Share Posted April 14, 2010 Lets try this again, I can't get the format right so I will try to color code them. Hope it's works. jtl513 Posted April 14, 2010 #11 Share Posted April 14, 2010 I am surpirsed that the Signature Class are somewhat shorter than the VISTA class ships. The numbers seem to vary from place to place. On the front of the pocket maps that we got on board these ships, the lengths are given asNoordam 935 Eurodam 936 Westerdam 950 Zuiderdam 950 Only the Westerdam agrees with what DDMau found and posted. When I pulled into Ft. Lauderdale on October 24, 2009, the Eurodam was already there and let me tell you something: As tall as the Zuiderdam is, the Eurodam was even taller. One deck more is 10% taller! :)
