"LIVE" From Carnival Glory / June 14, 2010

My bf and I just got off the Glory (6/10-6/14). We both had a great time! The CD (Jorge Solano) was funny and very entertaining. The food was very good, we had early seating and a table for 2 (did not ask for it). We ate at the specialty restaurant, food was excellent. The shows and the comedy shows were great. We were in cabin 1448, never met our room steward, but the room was always clean and we had towel animals each night. The bands playing around the ship were also very good. All in all we had a great time, even though I had a wicked sinus infection and had no voice for the whole cruise.....definitely did not stop me from having fun on the fun ship!!!!! :D

Hello everyone ! Wow, I stayed up much later than I am used too. . . I was able to make it to the Welcome Aboard Show, and I can tell you that our Cruise Director (Jorge) is a riot. He is a very funny guy, and will have you in stitches !

I am looking forward to the 2 Comedy acts that are onboard. There will be several shows throughout the week in the Ebony Cabaret on Deck 5.

I think I forgot to mention the Coffee available for purchase in Creams is very very good ! They sell several varieties on the Kaleidoscope Blvd (MID), and up in the Red Sail Restaurant(AFT).

This morning was very foggy. . .The Fog Horns were sounding loudly every 2 minutes. Some of the passengers were complaining that the sound was too loud. They also suggested that “It’s a good thing I am already up, or they would be hearing from me” What did she just say? Hmmm. . . There will be no further comments from your intrepid reporter. . . (well, at least about that comment)

Today the forecast is for sunny skies and warm(73F). . .and no rain ! We are currently sailing at 18.5 knots and we have sailed 291nm from New York. We still have 288nm to go before we arrive in Saint John, New Brunswick tomorrow at 8AM.

Here are a few pics from last night, and early this morning. . . .

Thanks for tuning in !

I am loving your pics/reviews...thanks!! The pics of the fog remind me of the movie "Ghost Ship!" (was not a big hit movie, btw)

Being a fellow "gaming enthusiast"...can you swing by the craps table and check out the table mins and the odds (is it 5X or 3/4/5X?). I too, plan on "visiting" lady luck!

Lovin you review so far. It's always interesting to see how people feel about the Saint John stop. Normally I would sit at the window at work and watch the whale tail come into port, but tomorrow I won't be able to. Have a great time in our little city. :D

Hey Radio-

I'm hoping you can do me a HUGE favor.

My fiance and I were supposed to be on this cruise with you and a few of our friends. But we got into a car accident on the way to the ship and couldn't make it on board.

If you come across our friends could you give them the message that Jay and Lindsay are ok. You'll probably find our friend Dave singing kareoke. Hes mid-twenties and traveling solo. (Cabin 1304 or 1340)

We really appreciate it! We don't want them to worry anymore than they already are.

Hello everyone. . . I went to the Port and Shopping talk this morning with the CD as our host. I thought it was good that Carnival spent a lot of time talking about the Shore Excursions, for details about the what the excursions were about.

I just returned from our Meet and Mingle with other Cruise Critic “Roll Call Members” and it was nice to see everyone that we have been talking with for several weeks.

They certainly were a friendly group, and it seemed that everyone was having a great time.

Tonight is Elegant Night, and the Captain’s Celebration. Captain Agostino Fazio, will be on the promenade from 5-8PM, and will introduce his Sr. Officers to the passengers.

We also have the Production Show, “Livin’ in America”, and several Comedy shows tonight. I should take a nap, so I can stay up for it all. . .

Here are a few pics from this afternoon. . . More pics tonight !

Thanks for tuning in !
