Wine-O Posted August 18, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2010 Pools are salt water. Hot tubs are fresh water. I don't know about the outside pools, but the pool in the solarium on Solstice is fresh water. The T-pools on the M-Class are salt water mixed with chlorine -- so the sign says. Rare cwtravel Posted August 18, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 18, 2010 The Solarium pool is fresh water. Sailed on the Solstice in June. Have been on 10 Princess Cruises (Grand, Golden, Star, Caribbean and Ruby) with my next cruise on the Crown Princess. I am a big Princess fan but, the Solstice, especially in Aqua Class, blew Princess away, in my opinion. Only area lacking was possibly the entertainment. Have a great cruise, Chris
Rare cruisestitch Posted August 18, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 18, 2010 Sorry, I should have qualified the answer -- on M class ships, the pools are salt water.
Rare mahdnc Posted August 18, 2010 #6 Share Posted August 18, 2010 Sorry, I should have qualified the answer -- on M class ships, the pools are salt water. You can add C-class swimming pools to the salt water category.
