Need help deciding...

Recommended Posts

We're trying to decide what to do for our next cruise - Feb 2012 ... the Oasis or a b2b on the Liberty. So I'm hoping to get some feedback from all of you...What would you do and why?

The reason for doing the Oasis would be, basically, the ship as we have been to all the ports it goes to but from everything I have read the ship is a destination in itself...the Liberty goes to ports that we haven't been to and when we completed the 9 or 10 nights it would move us to Platinum.

Either option is within $100-200, so money isn't an issue.

Thanks for any advise/insight.

For me it would be a no brainer. I have no intention of sailing either of the "Behemoths of the Seas". There are ports they can't get into because of their size. I cruise for the ports, not the ship. My choice would be Freedom.

Me too, a b2b on a Freedom class or 2nd Gen Voyager is an easy choice over the Oasis or Allure. Some people love the new mega ships, I'm not one of them.

I'd vote for the Liberty as well.

While I'm glad that we sailed the Oasis (and we had a wonderful time) the Freedom class is my favorite! You should definitely try Oasis (or Allure), but in this case I think the longer cruise for about the same price would make the decision for me.

I would do the B2B for the longer cruise, then enjoy the Platinum discount when you book the Oasis for a future cruise.
