How Often Do The Production Shows Change?

If I have Funtimes from the same Liberty route in September, can I expect the shows to be the same when I sail in June?

We have been on 3 Carnival cruises - Legend 2x, Miracle once - all doing the 8 day run from FLL. 2005, 2006 and 2010 and every cruise had the Christopher Allan Graves show.

I will answer you as "not often"

On my Behind the Fun Ship Tour on the Triumph 11/2010 they said they change the dancers out every 3 to 6 months. They did not say anything about the shows however.

This was addressed on the Behind the Fun tour I took on the Dream. They explained that the large backdrops are actually slid into the ship AS it is being built. Therefore, it is VERY difficult to remove as they have to be carried out piece by piece. For that reason and due the associated expense, it is easier for Carnvial to move the ship to a new home port than it is to change the shows. Sort of like comics who say it is easier to get a new audience than a new set. The shows remain for years, as a poster stated above. Hope that's helpful.

I've taken many cruises on Carnival. I've never seen the production shows change. They are making the passengers do more and the comedy clubs are new.

I think they have really cut back in this area. It's kind of sad, actually.

This is why it is good when they move ships around. Get to go to the same port for new ship and hopefully new shows.

So true! Will be my 3rd time on Glory and Liberty - will make show time "casino time!":p

answer: not enough.

and then you jump around the ships, and find they've been moved to your ship.

i swear the cab from one of those shows had wheels, and was following me, as well as christopher allan graves.

If you like that type of music he is fine but have seen his show enough to last us for the next 20 plus years.

ME TOO!! (for the first time) I am finally sailing on a ship that has this show so I really hope they do not change it before next January :p

We have seen Ticket to Ride about 5x now and really enjoy it but at some point enough is enough.

When I was on Elation in 2009 I flipped through the book in the cabin about the ship that came out when the ship first launched in 1998. It had all of the original crew members of the ship and described the production shows--Rhythm and Spin. These were the same production shows that we saw on our sailing in 2009, so it looks like the shows stay on for quite awhile.
