Any Carnival Splendor questions you may have?

I was curious if the sports lounge "our house" was non-smoking. It's not a jazz club, but on the funtimes listed on John Healds Blog from July 2011 it stated smoking was allowed in there. I'm not a big fan of confined smoke, unfortunately it causes me some breathing issues. So I was hoping the sports lounge would be smoke free so I could catch a few games. Thanks for any info!

 

BTW, Nick I checked out the sports lounge, it is not smoking, but I could still smell the old cigarette smoke. Perhaps, they need to re-upholster the furnishings to get rid of that smell. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info! We are Raider fans so we will defnately plan on watching the monday night game in the sports lounge during our cruise. First sea day, dinner at the pinnacle, and the opening Raider game at the sports bar. Should be a great first full day! Hopefully I'm able to make it up for snorkeling the next morning ;)

 

Maybe they will have their new beer on board by September. Time will tell

It's our 4th day and we just got back from Medano Beach.

 

Loving every moment of this cruise.

 

I haven't tried the Rotisserie yet:eek:, but I sure have to.

 

I will try to find out about Tequila factory and DOD card ASAP!!!

I'm happy that you are loving your cruise. I wish I was on the ship too! When you go to the Rotisserie don't forgot to try the Mac n Cheese. I hope it's white and made with Brie. If so, its very tasty. Enjoy your cruise!!!

Any tips on the ship activities, must see shows or bars will benice since we will be at sea 3 full days.

 

Have not been anywhere other than the Caribbean for cruising any other tips that you feel would be helpful.
